Comments about Ten Seconds Studio Metal Tools:
I am a high school art teacher. I bought one set of these to try out on our metal tooling project. We use 38 gauge aluminum, which is very soft metal. After only a few lines, the tools are falling apart! They stop rolling and get stuck, and the actual metal itself (on the wavy tools) is cracking (see picture). Maybe a dab of oil will get them rolling again, but I was using very little pressure and I couldn't believe the metal cracked!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Good tools for metal or leather
I used these tools to do some embossing on leather and metal and they did a really good job. They seem a bit lightweight but I had no issues with them breaking. I have only created one item with them so far so I am unsure at this point of the longevity of the items but I feel they are a good deal for the price.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Hard to find metalworking tools
from Park City Utah
Several competitors have discontinued these type tools. I was so happy to find this set. I use them with metal tape for mixed media artwork. They work great and make even impressions.
Works for Styrofoam Printmaking as well.
I bought these for my art class for use in metal tooling, but first tried them out on Styrofoam for printmaking. The kids loved the designs they made! I hope to be able to purchase more sets next year.
Could be great, or could be broken...
These are great tools to order if they work, but I ordered two sets of them for my students to use and three of them were broken when I opened them. Then two more stopped rolling shortly there after. The unfortunate thing is that there is no alternative to these metal tools, so I will likely order more in hopes that the next set I get is all working. Another teacher I know ordered them and they were fine.
