The desk was easy and fast to put together! The design and smooth transition from flat range to vertical is great for my quick projects changes. I recently developed my costume on it and then quickly finished up my sketches without having any of my tools fall out of the side bins.

this thing is great. Especially for the money. I found it very easy to set up, but I am a bit technically inclined. The instructions weren't as clear as they could have been, but it still got the job done. i'm soon to be ordering the leg estensions, as I feel it's a bit too short for how I like it, but that's just personal preference. Overall it's a solid piece, and I'm glad I purchased it. It feels very stable when I'm sketching tattoos on it, and that is a plus. I also like the ablility to add a Porta Trace attachment to it. Very good feature.

The glass is thick, and obviously capable of handling anything, even though the instructions say not to put anything over 25 pounds on it. (I haven't). It's fairly thick, and well mounted. Doesn't feel as though it will slip.

Overall, the stability of the desk is great. Never at any time have I felt that it would topple. Not even when I had the glass raised to it's maximum angle.

The drawers are a great feature on it, as well as the slide out pencil tray. They get plenty of use from me, and have held up well. I do have a problem with the side holders however. (It's a very mild one). I paint with Dr. PH Martin's water colors, and the square containers are just a bit to small to hold two bottles side by side. But again, this is just a personal thing, and certainly doesn't detract from the overall desk. The drawers more than make up for this loss.

I'm pleased with it. I recently had a much larger drafting table, with hydraulic lift and all the amenities, but the only thing I ever really used all that space for was to keep my art supplies out. The storage in this desk more than makes up for all that lack of space.

Overall, 4 stars. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because I'm just too picky to give anything a 5.

Was a little worried that this might be too lightweight to be a sturdy/steady drawing platform. Happily I was wrong. Just ordered the lightbox and supports for under it.

Chair was easy to assemble. problem is that the gas lift did not work (does not raise) and that was only discovered after complete assembly So it is next to impossible to disassemble it to send it back.

I use this for cartooning work - pen/ink and watercolor.
Perfect height, comfortable to work on.
Product assembled easily, no problems at all. Directions for assembly are very accurate - just take the time to study illustrations if wording is unclear and you will have no problem.

I am a casual beginning art student and needed something stable and comfortable that would look nice in my home. This table fits the bill perfectly. The structure is very stable considering the low cost. The drawers were quite a bit better than I expected because of the way they are joined. The only minor negative is that when I lift the table to adjust the angle the back legs come up a little and I have to go slowly to avoid tipping the table (though I think it's heavier than other tables in the same price range).

Excellent value and great table overall. I've never had an "assembly required" item go so smoothly. Good directions and EVERY piece fit exactly as intended. All of the hardware was included, correct and a great fit.

Highly recommended!

This is the kind of table you can use in different ways, for instance you can put your lamp on the neat and use it as ligt table! also the side containers are very convenient you can reach all your most used tools on rapidly, the price it is a bargain, this is also a table that fits from students to professionals, thank Dick Blick for products like this

The previous reviews for the product were confirmed in regard to the instructions for putting together. Most were good. The long middle drawer and the side containers were the trickiest.

I use this table everyday for drawing and painting. I love that its glass, and its very sturdy and durable. I wish it did come up more, but I still love it.
