The Studio Designs Folding Craft Station is a portable alternative for those who are short on space for their crafting table.
Constructed of heavy-gauge steel for durability, the Folding Craft Station's folding legs make it a breeze to set up and put away. It features a 36"W × 25"D white top or a tempered safety glass top that can be converted to a light table. The tabletop adjusts from 0–35°. Four floor levelers add stability.
Four removable side trays are great for storing pencils, pens, and other small tools and supplies. The table also has a slide-up pencil ledge.
With the trays, the Folding Craft Station measures 30"H × 42"W × 25"D. It is preassembled, and sets up in five minutes or less. No tools are required.

THis is the best purchase I have made for 2016! Fits comfortably in my room,. and I use it all the time! Love the angle feature-I can adjust the table height to fit my needs, from drawing to painting! Love this product-but then it came from Dick Blick, so I always love their products! Thanks!

i just set this up, so can't comment on the longevity of it. this table is very stable, and a piece of cake to set up, except - as has been said, the cross bar that locks the legs is impossible to push into place with your hands. i wrapped the section in some of the foam packing material and gave both ends a solid whack with a hammer, and that worked fine, without any damage to the crossbar. the little side trays are ingeniously attached, and easy to remove. i do watercolor, and knew that i would have to work small with a table this size. a half sheet used vertically seems to be as big as i'll be able to go, when i include my standard size palette, water container, brushes and wipe rags. for the price i can't imagine a better table in this category.
Exactly What I Needed
By Director of an Art Academy
from Charlotte, NC
As the director of an art academy, I needed quality artist desks that were also portable and compact.Pros: Great price point. Light weight for portability. Legs fold to collapse the desk flat for storage. Great size at 36"x24". Catch lip for when the desk is angled, which can be retracted to create a completely flat surface when working flat. Side trays to hold all types of art supplies. Great durable surface for student usage.Cons: The plastic lips on the side which the trays attach to are only secured into the bottom of the desk top (particle board) with a small screw. Several popped out from the very moderate pressure of pushing down the trays. The cross bar which secures the legs in place takes a little bit of muscles to push into place and to remove.

Great table, challenge to assemble
By Alexa H.
from New Orleans
I use this as a drawing table at an angle and I use it flat for encaustics and paint pouring. Love the look of it -- I got the glass one and it looks really sleek and expensive. It's sturdy and built to last. I love that it folds flat for storage and transportation BUT it is incredibly difficult to snap the legs together! I put all my weight on it and it still wouldn't clip in so my boyfriend had to do it. It still took him several tries. Hopefully they'll get a little looser over time so it won't be so difficult -- I definitely couldn't assemble it on my own! Wish the side trays weren't such a cheap, flimsy plastic, but otherwise very pleased with this product.
Great Portable Drafting Table
This is an extremely good drafting table and is one of the easiest to build just four little screws, attach the trays (Please note that you can be pretty firm knocking the trays into place) then you're ready to go. Perfect for small spaces or anyone that likes the idea of "hiding away" their work space. It's also great for anyone that may be moving.

I like that it folds up. Very little assembly required.
I like the fact that I can fold it up when company comes. I have it in my living room and it is exactly what I needed for painting snd other artwork. I just wish it came with accessories that u can get to attach for storage or even an arm you can pull out to use for supplies and a place to put for water. The holes are too small on the trays for water and when u tilt the table u cant use them? Well made and very happy with my purchase.
These is one table i would would keep in the studio as well.

Other the year I think we all have use different things for tables in our life's to make some of our best and worse art work in our life's as well...! And some we would not want to have people to look at as well. But when you look at a table that as a glass top and strong legs and some thing for you to clean up so ease as well. You ask your self these is something I could use and would not have to clean some much or work so hard to clean as well..! And it would not mess up my artwork as well when I can clean up the table and the go back to do the work again as well..! It just makes that much or easer to move your work from place to place and not worry about mixing things on the table to your work when it's not clean then these way you can clean these table a lot more and not worry about any of that mixing of art work trans fare as well...! Like we had so many years ago and now we don't have too..!
Great desk for the money
This desk was easy to assemble and well made. The quality was exceptional for the price. And with the blue tinted glass top is looks like it costs a lot more...great deal!
Excellent Drawing Table/Desk
I bought the Folding Craft Station for Christmas to use for drawing. I have been drawing seriously for about 2 years and had been using a drawing board in my lap. I cannot tell you how nice it is to sit down and tilt the table to a perfect angle. My neck doesn't hurt anymore, less stress on my back and it has two large trays that hold everything I need to complete a portrait or other drawing. I am very happy with this table. The fact that it folds up when I need the extra room just makes it better. Solid table, stable, easy to tilt and fold. Love it!
