I found the quality of the 100 pack to be very different from the 10 packs. The paper would not take the paint well. The texture was different. Even the envelopes were of a lesser quality. I compared them side by side with samples from the 10 pack. I had to return the 100 pack and order ten 10 packs.

This watercolor card offers a heavier weight making it the perfect card for attaching my photographs and enclosing it with an envelope inside a clear bag. I sell these cards and my customers are thrilled with this heavy card. I cannot watercolor but I can take some beautiful photographs!

These Strathmore 140# cards come complete with a nice A7 envelope with deckled flap. While the envelopes are a little thin compared to the watercolor card stock, they perform well and are beautiful.

I've been using these for letterpress work rather than watercolors. The reality is that the beautiful 140# stock is ideal for the crisp and beautiful impression that letterpress work makes possible. They perform well with polymer and with metal type. They take ink beautifully, and when you need inexpensive stock for a large run these have a unit cost of about 25 cents, including the envelope! Where else can you find that quality at that price? I've used them for Christmas cards, invitations, etc... Of course they only come in white, but every time I've used them the complements on the paper stock have been numerous.

These are a first rate value in terms of cost, quality, and utility.

I'm an art instructor at a private art studio. It is often hard to recover the cost of materials and supplies and still keep tuitions affordable for our parents. At the studio we have an upcoming project that required the use of watercolor cardstock. When I decided to try your Strathmore Watercolor Cards sight unseen, I was taking a chance. Glad I did! I purchased cards from three different sources and these were by far the best value and quality.

My daughter has been doing small watercolor illuminations, and when I saw these, I had a feeling they'd be perfect. The quality is very nice, and the low cost makes them a great value, and not too precious to actually send. 4x6 is a great size for small art pieces; she's have a great time, and has produced some really gorgeous scenes and illuminations since the postcard pads arrived. We'll definitely be buying more in the future... three pads is only a good start.

I used to purchase the box of 10 cards with the deckled edges in my local crafting stores, but was unable to find them this year when I went looking due to them chucking out actual art supplies to make space for the crazy scrapbookers. I was able to get a box of 100 without the irritating deckled edges for a pittance compared to what a box of 10 used to cost. The quality is great, but you do have to fold the cards yourself, and the scoring on them is not always exact - meaning some of your cards may be a little 'off center'. However, the paper quality is excellent and holds up wonderfully to watercolor no matter how much water, paint or abuse you heap on the card. I am a VERY happy camper!
