Watercolor cards are well-received
By Val the Card Maker

I fold the card so the grid-like side is on the inside. Then I use bright watercolors and make a coordinating envelope, with loving words inside to make an heirloom that won't get thrown away, since it fits in a box. The envelopes will wrinkle slightly if you get them too wet. They're not meant to be watercolored anyway. Flatten when dry under a heavy book for a few days. I'm on my third box of 100. Great for classroom use too.
Cards for those very special friends
from Hydes, MD
My friends and I LOVE these cards. I send them on special occasions, and lots of people have framed them. A hand painted card is a lovely touch for birthdays and get wells.

The cards come 100 to a box and this is fantastic as I create lots of artcards for various occasions but mostly I make bright and beautiful artwork to encourage people in our horrible prisons in the US. The price for the cards is better than what I have seen on othersites. My cards were shipped fairly quickly. What I like best is that I can use watercolors, colored pencil, pen and ink, acrylic paints and pastels. The cards are so versatile. These are a must if you like to create your own cards.

I don't know what Strathmore has done to their watercolor card stock, but it just isn't the quality paper it use to be.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
