Love these cards
from Tulsa, OK
Comments about Strathmore Watercolor Cards:
I make my own cards and love these for watercolor pens & pencils. The cards are a nice heavy stock & the envelopes are also well made & heavy stock. The paper stands up well to water color which is great.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I Would Buy This Product Again
from Middle TN
This is a perfect product for card makers like me when we want to use watercolor. These cards are a good weight, and I can usually get them flat without taping down. The reason for four stars is because instead of making the cards a true A7 size, 5"x7", the cards are 6-7/8", which interfere with some of my dies and embellishments that are made for A7 cards. But, the quality is good and it saves my paper trimmer from having to cut watercolor paper for cards.
Great shipping, great product
from East Coast
These cards are great to watercolor on. My friends will be thrilled to get cards from me now.
I've been using these quality watercolor cards for years and I never tire of them! The texture is wonderful and they hold up even under a solid water wash! One side of the card is slightly less textured so if I'm going to use calligraphy on the front, I fold it so that the smoother side is facing out. The Strathmore stock is beautiful!
Very good discount deal

A few wishes for the cards
from Mulberry, AR
I just wish that the cards were of better stock so I could use juicy watercolors on them. Even though it says "accepts watercolor" the cards are best left to pencil and ink sketches and a tiny bit of color and very, very little water.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Strathmore Watercolor Cards
These heavy weight cards look and feel high quality.
Does the job; find your own box
from Eugene, OR
I appreciate having these cards for my homemade, water-color greeting cards. They certainly work better than the fold-it-myself watercolor paper I was using, and it's great to have envelopes. I do have a rather large gripe with the packaging though. They came in a very flimsy half-box with no lid. This has a couple of unfortunate effects: 1) Other items ordered with the cards may press into them, leaving a dent in the top card, and possibly more (though there are envelopes below the top card, so that provides a layer of protection; still, if you are paying for 50 cards, you don't want to have only 49 usable ones). 2) Storing the cards so they remain pristine before use is almost impossible with this flimsy, floppy box-without-a-lid. I will have to find something else to put them in. Frankly, for what these cost, I shouldn't have to. I would recommend the cards for watercolor painting, but with the caveat that you may have to find your own storage container for them.
