Gifted SPED Cartooning Class
from Olive Branch, Mississippi
I recently conducted a class for 17 gifted, special needs and typical teens. They all have a passion for cartooning. Our Cartoonist Guild special guest guided them through creating their own strip with the Srathmore Bristol Board. It was a perfect compliment to the lesson. I never worry about student frustration when using Strathmore papers for projects.
I would buy this product again and again

The paper is very smooth and perfect for shading with pencil. When smeared, it's nice and smooth.
Excellent for Ink
By Southern Gal

Great for working with marker-style pens. Paper is so smooth pens (and pencils) do not catch any paper tooth and this allows clean lines.
I use the 300 series for making comics, as it is the best price for value. Holds ink really well, with no bleeding. Very nice for watercolor, gouache, and acrylics also.
I absolutely love this paper. I've been using it for over four years now and it works like a charm. Smooth surface, takes to most of my mediums and the guide lines help tremendously. If you're a starting out comic artist or looking for an alternative, this is the go-to.

Excellent smooth surface paper for ink lines and washes and colored pencil drawings. The best for achieving neat lines, tiny details and great color intensity.

Good for the price.
By Michael Yakutis

These are great, low cost boards. They are not as good as Canson, but these do the job if you don't want to spend too much. But ever so often I come across a page or an entire pad that does not hold up very well when I ink my comic art. It will bleed or tear, so I hold on to those pages for when I pencil. Strathmore is a little inconsistent in that department, but still a pretty good product. They also run through my Brother printer very well. -Professional comic book artist-
