I really like the Fabriano 20 x 25 cm studio wc pads in cold press (their hot press verison is too slick even though I prefer hot press) but this Strathmore in hot press has slight texture which is perfect and is 100% cotton. I use the 20 x 25 cm size as I like to draw small and I do not frame I use it as a regular wc paper. btw; the written size on the pack was wrong: instead of 25,4 cm they wrote 24,5 cm. No big deal but just so customers know that it is exact same dimensions as Fabriano pad (archaic 8 x 10").

Would love to see this exact paper in wc block and pad in same dimension 20 x 25 cm (its really 20,3 x 25,4cm but I would eliminate those extra milimeters if I was manufacturer) and in A4 blocks and pads (manufacturers often make 9 x 12" in archaic but that is just a little too big for scanners and copiers at home thus A4 is perfect).

I despise cropping and trimming so these pre-cut watercolor sheets were made for me. I bought one package of every size. I can just paint and frame, easy-peasy. The sheets are much thicker and sturdier than I though they'd be so even though I'm heavy with my water there wasn't any pilling or tearing. Yes, they're more expensive than if you trimmed your paper yourself but to me they are a lifesaver.

This is one of the best watercolor paper products for those on a budget. I tried the 400 series and was not impressed, but this is much better. The only drawback is that there is no rough surface option in these sets.
