Printmaking cards with gelli plate
from Seabrook, Maryland
The products will used for making greeting cards from the gelli plate prints and the weight of the cards is excellent for this project.
Nice heavy weight paper
I have not bought other blank cards so can't compare but these were great. Heavy paper, took block printing ink very well, were definitely classy once I printed them.

Good for the price
I was skeptical about these cards since the Strathmore "Creative Cards" were not at all suited for printing (or anything else in my opinion)... These, however, print quite well with linoleum blocks. For the price, they are a good value. They hold ink and detail well and have a decent, but not great, tactile quality about them. I don't think they'd be good out of the box for intaglio or lithography without dampening first. They are shipped flat with a pre-made crease in them for easy folding, which is nice for anyone planning to screen print on them. As someone said before, the envelopes are a different paper stock and are transparent enough to see the design of the printed card inside. As much as I dislike the Strathmore "Creative Cards" the envelopes that came with those are a bit nicer and have a deckled edge on the flap.

Great blank cards!
from Wichita, KS
I use these cards to make linoblock print Christmas cards, and they're GREAT for it. The paper is smooth, thick, a perfect surface. I imagine it would work just as good for intaglio or screen printing, or any kind of wet or dry media. Excellent quality.

Luscious thick cards

I love how thick and substantial these cards are. Excellent for print making. They make gorgeous art cards. Absorbs paint and ink evenly and feels high quality.
