This archival grade matting and mounting board is made of 100% cotton fibers, solid color all through, acid-free and buffered with calcium carbonate to guarantee longevity. It's rated 80 hours tested fade. The surface is designed to deliver a smooth, clean cut for matting.

4-ply Matboard — about the same thickness as regular matboard.

2-ply Mounting Board — about the same thickness as heavy bristol.

I have been using Strathmore for more than thirty five years to preserve photogrpahy and art and there has never been a question as to the consistency of the quality of the product.

I chose Dick Blick because their prices are competitive and they will ship to my front door. I had concerns about museum board being shipped and arriving in good condition.

I was impressed the care that was taken to pack the item and ship it. It arrived without damage, and a day before promised. I was also more than pleased with the shipping cost which I thought was very fair.

I would highly reccoment Dick Blick as a source for museum board or matting supplies.
