Love the Toned Tan Paper
By Sunny in Tucson
from Tucson, AZ
The toned tan paper comes in several sizes of sketchbooks and wire-bound pads. The paper is textured enough to hold onto whatever drawing medium you are using, but also works with pen and ink. The tan is not too dark. Plan on it serving as the medium light value in a 4 value sketch.
Great color and super smooth paper surface. Awesome!

Perfect size, durability, texture, and functionality
By Roman Stallone

I love using white and black charcoal on paper like this. It really makes the image look 3D. The way the rings to turn the pages work is really suitable because it doesn't disturb the quality of the paper. Such an excellent product.

Best Grey Toned 18x24 Paper
from Santa Monica, CA
Works well using black drawing materials with a touch of white for highlights. A different brand has a laid textured finish, but I prefer this smooth texture. The spiral ring binding works well, and sheets do not fall out like some pads that are bonded with glue. Ring binder also allows pages to lie flat when you flip pages.I am sorry that my local Blick Stores no longer carry this pad in 18x24 inches. (Only smaller sizes.) A number of my artist friends also use 18x24. So now we have to pay for shipping.
