For studies or finished art, this heavyweight, 140 lb (300 gsm) paper features a vellum surface. The gluebound pads contain 15 sheets each and feature flip-over covers.

Blick from now on!!
from Cocoa, Florida
I usually shop at a local National Retailer of Art & Craft Supplies and when ya factor in the 1/2 hour drive one way to the store, and the coupon deals they sometimes have, it seems like their prices are still too high. I'm glad to see Blick has what I need and at an affordable price, and I'll be buying from here from now on! Thanks Blick!

Great paper, takes a beating
from Brooklyn, NY
I really like Strathmore papers and this multi-media pad in no different. Nice surface- works well with ink and wet media like acrylic washes. Plenty thick at 140lbs.
great paper, great sizes
I love the mixed media paper; perfect for textures, text, sketches, etc. I also love the size options and I was thrilled to find the Blick sale prices. Great!
Great heavy paper
from Carmel, CA.
I've been using this 140 lb paper from Blick art supplies for 2 years, I love it, great texture and endure many different type of paint.
Heavier and better
I've tried a lot of different mixed media papers and the standard weight seems to be 98lbs. I found the Stratmore Mixed Media 140lb paper on a vacation in Maine and after a week of using it I will stick with it. Definitely my paper of choice right now.

My favorite paper
I love to draw, water color, acrylic paint and oil paint. This paper is the all in one for that. When finished the painting has looked like a color photo print. Doesn't warp.

I LOVE Blick and Strathmore paper!
By Craig S.
from San Jose, CA
Blick has far and away the best deals for art supplies on the internet. That makes working with my Strathmore Series 400 Mixed Media paper an even greater joy.Strathmore's mixed media paper solved the biggest challenge I was facing with my watercolor production technique. No longer will I use traditional hot or cold press watercolor paper. I am sold on vellum surface mixed media paper by Strathmore. It is durable, holds up well to scrubbing and lifting out color, all while maintaining an unblemished surface. My pigments also appear more translucent and multi-dimensional.Thank you Strathmore for creating this wonderful paper which allows me to stretch the limits of watercolor. And thank you Blick for carrying it at such a great price!

Strathmore 400 Series, 9'x12'

Paper is of fine quality with a roughness that suits my use and the spiral backing helps the page lie flat as compared to book with spine. Even though the pages are not perferated, it is easy to trim to fit the frame. I prefer the larger size paper. This paper is great for watercolor or pastel pencils and markers.

Favorite paper for daily drawing
from Eureka, CA
I'm using the 6x8 for a daily, 30-ish minute drawing, and I bounce around on the media I use. Works great for ink wash, Prismacolor marker, or just good old pencil. It's a really great value for artwork that I want to sell but may not necessarily sell every time- it's nice enough to take the drawing seriously but not so nice that I'm terrified of ruining it.
