Great Paper for Studies in Pastels & Charcoal
from Lakes Region, NH
I'm using this paper for still life studies in Pastels (Pan Pastels, pencils, hard and soft sticks) as well as Charcoal. I really love it. At the price, it's a great value and I don't have to feel self-conscious about using paper that's too expensive while I'm learning the medium or working on values. I would buy this again.
The only pad to have

Really nice paper for really good price
from Pacific Coast
This paper is:- strong and capable of withstanding multiple erasures if not done overly aggressively- nicely textured - not too smooth and not too extreme tooth. A good traditional charcoal paper texture- a nice color - white but not super bright white- thin - light weight and not stiff at all. It's deceptive though because it is actually quite strong as noted above- really nice for graphie, charcoal, and soft or hard pastels and pastel pencils- very reasonably priced

Lovely texture and soft white color. I have used this for both charcoal sketching and decorative covering of books and am very pleased. I will stick with this product!
Good quality paper
from San Diego, Ca
I use this paper for much of my work in charcoal. The tinsel strength of this paper is actually quite good. Charcoal and pastels hold well with it and the paper has a nice crisp feel to the touch.
