The same great art paper that has become the standard for quality, consistency, and performance for fine art applications, Stonehenge paper is now available in a more permanent format — wire-o spiral pads.

Each pad contains 32 sheets of heavyweight, 90 lb (250 gsm), 100% cotton, neutral-pH paper that is acid-free and chlorine-free, perfect for monthly visual journaling or travel journaling.

The paper is suitable for mixed media, collage, wash, watercolor, pen-and-ink, graphite pencil, colored pencil, watercolor pencil, charcoal, pastels, and rubber stamping. The wire-o binding also allows for sticker inclusions or additions, such as small travel brochures, postcards, or maps.

The rigid, unfinished 70 pt covers invite personalization by the artist, while the durable, black, double wire-o spiral allows both covers to fold back for easy balancing and grasping. The binding also allows the pads to lie perfectly flat.

6" × 15" — The unique 6" × 15" (15 cm × 38 cm) size offers ample space for landscape views without interruption of gutter space. This size is also ideal for vertical fashion renderings and finished presentations.

7" × 7" — The 7" × 7" (18 cm × 18 cm) size is easy to carry and store, making it ideal for travel, with a square format that is suited for both landscape and portrait renderings and drawings.

For something that affordable I expected the ordinary run-off the mill sketchbook that could erase some but can't handle vigorous erasing nor heavy marker work but lo and behold I'm pleasantly surprised. From watercolor paintings to pitt pens, this paper refuses to warp or bleed. It's amazing, really. I plan to use it for my watercolor and ink sketches.

The only thing that slightly made its way through paper like this were my copic sketch markers, but they make their way through almost anything there is, so I'm not disappointed at all. I'm so happy with my purchase, it is a beautiful notebook that I'll really have to buy more of.

I love the spiral pad format as I like to save my artwork like a journal. The regular pads didn't hold together very well. On the other hand I wish there were more sizes available. Just for once an 8 x 10 would be nice ...... the 7 x7 is smaller than the 8 x 8 I prefer; then it jumps up to 9 x12. It's a little awkward carrying around 9 x12 size pads. I hope these come out in an 8 x 8 or an 8 x 10 too.

After trying many brands of artist's pads, this is the only one that I use.I work in pencil, doing detailed renderings .Many of the pads that I've tried have a bumpy surface which is not good for my style of drawing.Stonehenge is smooth,perfect for my needs.The new brown cover and large spirals are not necessary,but look very cool.
