Stonehenge is a traditional fine art paper with a smooth, flawless surface that is slightly mottled to resemble actual vellum. Use it for watercolor, printmaking, pen-and-ink, pencil, or pastel.
Stonehenge is machine-made in the United States, from 100% cotton fibers. It's acid-free. Each sheet has two deckle edges. Sheets are available in either a 90 lb (250 gsm) or 120 lb (320 gsm) weight, and in a variety of colors and sheet sizes.
Stonehenge is also available in 50" × 10 yd (1.3 m × 9.1 m) rolls, so you can choose your own size.
Color Chart Note — Use this color chart as an approximation of the real color. If exact color matching is necessary, use actual samples of the materials.
Handling Charge — When ordering sheets of paper or board larger than 18” x 24” in quantities of less than 10, a $3.00 per order handling fee applies. Paper or boards may be assorted to reach the quantity of 10.

My paper shipment came in perfect condition!
from Ventura, CA
Comments about Stonehenge Paper:
I use stonehenge paper for my pet portraits because it's high quality and thick and great for drawing AND water media (I use acrylic paint). I had a hard time finding anyone who carried it at local retailers. Blick had the best deal online (I called in store and it was much more pricey!) It was delivered promptly and in perfect condition which is always dicey for such large paper. I ordered 10 pieces and it was well packaged and protected in a cardboard sleeve within a bigger cardboard mailer box.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I produce woodcuts and the Stonehenge is 100% cotton with a vellum and a smooth side allowing me a choice in the look I am after depending on the image. BLICK customer service is absolutely outstanding.
Not the easiest order.
from Singapore and Australia.
I have a professional artist practice with frequent shows both in Australia and Internationally. This product has always been reliable, specifically the finish of this product as i use primarily graphite it allows for a rich contrast as opposed to a stark contrast that i would get with an ivory white. The product itself stands up to repeated erasure and heavy line work and colouring. But most of all the service of DickBlick is above the rest in customer service and understanding regarding delivery of their products and prompt response regarding orders.
Great quality at a good price.

I use this for screen printing fine art prints with oil based inks. I use a LOT of colors and it holds up well. It's a good weight
Item met my expecations and delivery was ontime

The paper is the standard Stonehenge which is great for dry media.
I love pearl grey Stonehenge as a middle-tone paper for fine art drawings using graphite and white conte. The surface texture on one side is perfect, while the reverse side has a much rougher tooth for a rougher treatment, and a slightly lighter tone. My drawing style is based on years of using this paper. I scan the paper and paint in photoshop, for a grainy, rich surface complexity.
Great Printmaking Paper

I am a printmaker and have been impressed with the quality of Stone Henge and Lenox paper. They are both on the stiff side as far as printmaking paper goes, but they pull some nice quality prints. Lenox white paper is a crisp true white color. Stone Henge white is a little more warm white. And Stone Henge black paper captures ink nicely despite a natural tendency for black paper to dull printed colors. I would recommend these products to any potential printmakers out there.

I usually buy the big roll and cut according to my desired size. Love the thickness and the way it hold the pastels.

Excellent and affordable paper that can be used with many different media
from Little Rock, AR.
Most people buy this paper for use with CP.But I also use it for pastels as well. It has a nice uniform surface for great detail. If you like working on toned grounds they offer several options of great colours.
