Classroom-safe and durable, this heavy-duty pencil sharpener features a unique angled cutter for controlled sharpening to a long point, a thermal cutout with auto reset to prevent motor damage, and an easy-clean shavings receptacle. The pencil sharpener cord is attached to the back of the unit and plugs into a standard 110V outlet.

The unit will not operate when the blades are exposed. An auto-stop feature prevents oversharpening. Blades are not replaceable.

Includes a seven-year limited warranty.

I saw this sharpener with a 5-star review and I bought it. When I got it, I had also gotten unsharpened pencils and decided to give it a go. I sharpened 3 pencils and on the fourth, it stopped sharpening in the middle and would not sharpen anything for the next few hours. I did not have the warranty, and I received this order on October 2nd and shipping is very expensive from Australia to the US so I did not send it back.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I want to learn to draw and an electric sharpener is essential. It sharpens fast and does not take up much space on the down size, it is kind of big but, It comes with a 7 year warrenty which makes it even better for a sharpener under 30 bucks.
