This standard grade screen printing unit is great for training.The back bar height is securely adjusted with wing nuts. The frame measures 1.125" thick (28 mm), with 12XX multifilament polyester fabric, and the glued corners have corrugated metal fasteners with a wood sidekick.

The base is made of ¼" thick hard board. Each unit comes with a squeegee.

10 × 14 Base — This unit also includes three stainless steel registration guides.

This is a nice beginner setup at a good price, but please make a note to Customer Service, if you order one, to have them take the hardware out and bubble wrap it before shipping. My first two both had damaged screens from the included screws and nail cutting into the screen fabric. Customer Service (thanks, R.!) is currently working to get me one that is undamaged. I will update this review when I get it. Hopefully it is a good one, otherwise I will just try my hand at putting new screen fabric on myself.
I am hoping that Blick will improve on the way they package the hardware in Production so that Customer Service doesn't need to be inconvenienced this way in the future. It will help make a good priced item into one worth buying again in the future if I decide to persist with screen printing.

This is a new direction for my art work so I have no other product to compare with other than the Speedball screen (no back board, but does comes with the right squeegy and inks for fabric printing) that I also ordered which was perfect right out the box.

As always, Blick products are great value and Customer Service is second to none.
