Marsgraphic 3000 Duo Double-ended Markers feature a foam brush tip on one end and a fine point fiber tip for detail work, sketching, and illustration on the other end.
The richly colored dyes in these watercolor markers blend easily with water for creating a variety of effects. Their ink is acid-free, odorless, and xylene-free.

Not so good
Comments about Staedtler Marsgraphic 3000 Duo Watercolor Brush Markers:
I purchased these for adult coloring but they do not work well at all. They bleed out more than any other marker I have used. For the name and price I would expect more. I plan on retuning them.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I liked the way the markers blend with each other. I have not tried them with water, but I expect they will blend nicely with water as well.

The best Brush tips!
from San Diego
I have tried many brands for brush tip markers: Tombow being my favorite till now. But these Staedler are by far the best in my collection. Quality is excellent , the brush tips are very juicy, flow nicely and have vibrant color. Because they lay down so wet they blend easily; plus they finish off evenly--much like a true watercolor.
Staedtler Marsgraphic 300 Brush Calligraphy Markers

These are the best brush markers for brush calligraphy. This is a little known fact. I have been using them for years. The brush tip imitates the feel and flexibility of a brush. The colors are vibrant.

Exactly what I wanted
from Gaithersburg, MD
I needed a fine tipped watercolor pen for some detail work. These pens have both a hard tipped marker-type tip and a very fine brush shaped flexible tip on the other end which helps me with outlining The colors are vivid. They can be diluted with a brush and water for less intense saturation. I'm happy with them. Frankly, I never compared them to other brands or styles. However, this automated review requires that I give that information in order to submit it as completed.
Excellent for fashion illustration

nice set of basic colors, works well with other inks for fashion illustration
from Columbus, OH
I, too, bought one (sepia) years ago, and recently started sketching again. It's as good as new, and I love the effect of the combination of brush tip and pen, as well as its slim shape and comfortable fit in one's hand. I am on Blick's website looking to buy more!!

Best quality over time
By Patrice the artist
from Sydney Australia
I bought some twenty five years ago a full range of colour of Mars graphic 3000, in fact i had over fourty of them in all. To my great surprise they still work till now, exception to a few which I didn't cover well for a long period of time. we are now in 2013, some colour have faded a bit but they still retained their brillance and the tip is still as flexible as it was when I bought them, I keep them in a wooden box in a cool place. I found the quality of such pen remarkable to say the least. I was able to do some great work on glossy photo paper just as much as on drawing paper. I do not know if the new ones are as good as the one they made 25 years ago, but I'll give them a try as a set this year, what an achievement in quality one could say.

Over 20 Years
from Los Angeles, CA
I bought this product over 20 years ago and have been extremely happy with the range of colors, the ability to be used with other brands and the fact that they have stood the test of time, due to using them sparingly. I am a aritst/ graffiti artist and have used them for sketching and for illustrations. I have found the colors to be very vibrant, easy to blend one color to the next and the fact that the foam brush tip has held its same shape since the day I first used it. The only drawbacks I can think of with this product is that they are not for sale by color individually and that not many places carry these sets of markers. Then again its kind of an advantage considering not everyone knows about it and keeps others wondering how I have accomplished such awsesome work on paper. Know that I have finally found somewhere to buy a set, I'm a try to put some money aside and buy another large set and use it as much as possible this time.

Best felt brush markers
By LDM letterer
from Kansas City
Most responsive felt brush for fast free brush letters - have used them for years. The only negagtive is that the fine point becomes rounded too quickly and I have yet to find a way to reshape it successfully.
