Excellent for school and hobby use as well as by professional artists, Staedtler Karat Soft Pastels feature brilliant colors, excellent blending qualities, a high degree of lightfastness, and soft, smooth performance.
Karat Soft Pastels can be blended with water and used to create gently hued areas. They're also excellent for combining with watercolors, red chalk, charcoal, and acrylic paints.
For best results, use Karat Soft Pastels on a rough-surfaced paper or pastel paper.
Paper-wrapped sticks measure 2-3/4" long × 3/8" square (70 mm × 10 mm).
