Fimo Classic Polymer Clay features the same firm texture that made the original Fimo such a superb clay for detail work, including millefiori, but with one major improvement — Fimo Classic blocks are now divided into 8 segments to make cutting and blending easier.
Fimo has brilliant color intensity, and is fade-proof and odorless. The color mixing chart illustrates how to combine segments from the 24 colors to create more than 100 new colors!
After modeling, place in a pre-heated kitchen oven set at 265°F (130°C) for 30 minutes. Baked Fimo can be added to and baked again, providing it hasn't been varnished. Hardened Fimo can be carved, sawed, filed, cut, and painted, and it is watertight and washable. Unhardened Fimo can be used again and again if it is packed securely and stored at normal room temperature.
Colors can be changed by kneading together. Add white to lighten, or add transparent Fimo for a translucent quality. Larger models, or models with delicate projecting parts, should be supported from the inside with an armature. Fimo Classic can be combined with Fimo Soft.
Note — Use this color chart as an approximation of the real color. If exact color matching is necessary, use actual samples of the materials.
