Fimo Classic Polymer Clay features the same firm texture that made the original Fimo such a superb clay for detail work, including millefiori, but with one major improvement — Fimo Classic blocks are now divided into 8 segments to make cutting and blending easier.
Fimo has brilliant color intensity, and is fade-proof and odorless. The color mixing chart illustrates how to combine segments from the 24 colors to create more than 100 new colors!
After modeling, place in a pre-heated kitchen oven set at 265°F (130°C) for 30 minutes. Baked Fimo can be added to and baked again, providing it hasn't been varnished. Hardened Fimo can be carved, sawed, filed, cut, and painted, and it is watertight and washable. Unhardened Fimo can be used again and again if it is packed securely and stored at normal room temperature.
Colors can be changed by kneading together. Add white to lighten, or add transparent Fimo for a translucent quality. Larger models, or models with delicate projecting parts, should be supported from the inside with an armature. Fimo Classic can be combined with Fimo Soft.
Color Chart Note — Use this color chart as an approximation of the real color. If exact color matching is necessary, use actual samples of the materials.

Wouldn't use anything else!!!
By Ginny Mae

Comments about Staedtler Fimo Classic Polymer Clay:
I have used this to make jewelry for more than 25 years and I cannot imagine using anything else. I've designed and sold the jewelry for many years and it holds up beautifully. I personally have pieces that I have used for about 25 years and they look as good as they did when they were brand new. I got away from the business for 10 years or so but am starting up again and am thankful that this wonderful product is still available.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I would buy again and again
from Hawaiian Ocean View, Hawaii
I bought this for my ex wife(we are still friends) and she makes handmade crafts out of FIMO, and sells them online and at swap meets, and this is one of the best deals I've ever found anywhere. Thank you DickBlick, everything was great. Easy order process, easy checkout, and super fast shipping all the way to Hawaii! Aloha.

Fimo Classic best for canework
By Polymer clay bead lady
from Kalispell, Montana
I have been a polymer clay artist for 20 years now. Fimo Classic is the best on the market for canework. It takes a little longer to condition the clay but it is well worth the extra muscle for the excellent results. Fimo Classic 'rests' well and doesn't 'shift' like other polymer clays. If you want your creative genius to last..use Fimo Classic
