Stabilo's soft, waxy leads mark on virtually any surface. This is not an artist colored pencil, for drawing and sketching, but rather a colored marking pencil.
Use it for writing in color on paper and other surfaces, even difficult surfaces like plastic, film, and mylar. It is also useful for correcting drafts and proofs, or marking layouts. This pencil is pre-sharpened.

Comments about Stabilo Colored Marking Pencils:
I use these pencils my art and this was my first order with Dick Blick. Great quality product! I ordered 5 but only received one and called customer service promptly. They were quick to apologize and immediately sent out the other four pencils. We all make mistakes it's how we handle them that matters most and I'll definitely be ordering again!

The whitiest white
from River Forest, IL
I do mandalas on black paper and I thought one other pencil was the greatest white until I took a workshop with Kristy Kutch and learned about these marvels. They are white and bright!
Great addition to colored pencils
I bought these pencils to compliment my color pencil sets. When you need a hit of color and your paper tooth can't hold anymore pigment, these pencils work out very well. The only problem is they are only made in basic colors. I would have liked to have more color choices.

These pencils are used in marking a variety of materials used in book binding. There really is no other pencil that will do this, never mind do it was well. We mark leather, cardboard, paper, cloth - you name it. These pencils work on all those.

These graphite pencils are rich in pigment. Have you lost that highlighted area when layering? Here's the answer: use a Stabilo Marking Pencil to recapture it. The white is the best.
Stabilo All Colored Marking Pencils
By Gwen the Soup Girl
from Monett, Missouri
I have used the All Stabilo pencils for many years. It is perfect for writing on all glass, metal, plastic and other surfaces I have tried. It sharpens quite nicely in manual or electric sharpeners and is easily removable with a damp paper towel, a moist finger, dry cloth or paper towel and for small areas, a damp brush. For many years I painted on store windows and it is the only pencil I found that beautifully wrote on glass. Usually the applied paint removed unneeded marks, but a dry paper towel worked very well there. The only problem is they can be hard to locate for purchasing.

Love my Stabillos!
By KampyArts Girl
My stabillo pencils are my go to for so many projects and pieces while creating my mixed media art. The pencils can be used on top of so many different mediums and glide over them as well. My only concern to someone who has never used stabillo's just be aware that the pencil marks can be activate with liquid, therefore you need to make sure you will not be adding anything "wet" over the top of these or you may end up with smudges. Then again, sometimes smudges are just what the piece needed
Marks great on Kydex

I use this to mark Kydex thermoform plastic. I had been using regular pencils, but this is so much cleaner and marks easier. Huge improvement.
