Welcome to dickblick
The super-soft, blue, eraser-like material of Speedy-Cut Easy is even easier to carve than regular Speedy-Cut!
This makes it even smoother and safer to use, especially for students and novice printers. Flexible and durable, it will not crack, crumble, or break.
Speedy-Cut Easy Blocks readily accept image transfers from ink jet printers, clip art, and newspapers. Or use any water-soluble medium to draw your designs directly on the carving surface.

Comments about Speedball Speedy-Cut Easy Blocks:
I like the thickness of this product but it doesn't hold a strong line. If you look at it wrong it will crumble. There is a fine dusting of blue particles that you can't remove causing poor prints. After cleaning only once I'm convinced the next use will be even more deteriorated. Yes it is very easy to cut into. Best for a child. Not for fine art prints. Waste of money :( that being said. Speedball makes some superior products so this was a disappointment.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Thank you for taking the time to write a review! It sounds like you would be happier with the Speedball Speedy Carve Blocks which, though not quite as soft as the Speedy-Cut, are more conducive to crisp lines and detail. I am taking a stamp making class and the teacher advised purchasing these blocks - they are soft and I am enjoying using them - I need practice -

Crumbly - not so speedy
from Nipomo, CA
I bought this for a Girl Scout Letterboxing event and so wish I would have stuck with the pink runner I normally use. The blue is easy to carve initially, but then crumbles resulting in a poor stamped image. The girls still had fun, but I will never buy the blue again - pink is the way to go!

Great Carving Block
By Leilani S
from Lanesboro, Ma
This is my new carving block of choice. Much better than Speedy Carve (Pink) and regular Speedy Cut (White). Doesn't crumble apart like Speedy Cut, and doesn't pull/tug or slip like Speedy Carve. Don't get me wrong, I like Speedy Carve, but this is better overall. Best price around for a quality carving block. Cuts like butter. It's flexible, but not flimsy like some blocks. I use these blocks to make stamps, along with my Blick Lino Cutter. I was hesitant to purchase due to the quality and reviews of regular Speedy Cut, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. No complaints here.
