Speedball Linoleum Cutters are made of the finest quality steel with long lasting cutting edges.
Speedball Linoleum Cutters fit holders for standard Speedball lettering pen nibs. With firm printmaking materials such as linoleum, where a palm grip is needed, use them with the Speedball Linoleum Cutter Handle. With soft printmaking materials, a standard pen holder such as the Blick Pen Holder can be used.
Cutters are available in packages of 2 or boxes of 12. (Cutters cannot be assorted.)

Comments about Speedball Linoleum Cutters:
I read some of the bad reviews for this product but ordered this set hoping that Speedball had worked out the production "glitches" that have seemed to plague the blades. Long story short, the blades do not fit into the sleeve without a considerable amount of force. Further, there are a few of the blades that are burred and unusable. I re-read the reviews today and would have to say that based on my own experience that I would not recommend this product. Sadly, the poor quality of this set has cost me production time -- something I cannot gain back. I will be reaching out to Blick to attempt a return.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Great linoleum cutters
I use the cutters to carve pumpkins. These cutters are great for the small details. I love the storage in the handle. The small cutters would be easy to lose if you didn't have the storage.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Speedball is an excellent brand in the printmaking world. The quality is great. Blades do eventually become rusted, but the more you use them the less rusted they will be. My students use them with the Speedball linocutters with ease. They are easily interchangeable.#sweepstakes
Not too bad

So these arentry as well made as I remember them, but for a beginner they work great. I hadn't made block prints since I was in high school so I didn't want to spend a lot until I knew it would be wOrth it. So the upside to this tool, it's affordable, replacement blades are as well, it takes up little to no space. The downside, it isn't as comfortable as palm tools, it doesn't seem as sturdy as they used to be and even though the replacement blades are cheap sharpening is always a better option. I would recommend this for beginners or small projects.

These don't cut at all and are poorly made. I have other speedball printing supplies that are quite good but I'm amazed at how terrible these are. Good concept to have blades stored in cap but the blades are totally useless. Won't cut soft wood or grey linoleum. Not sure what they would work on. Wish I could return them.
hello, thank you very much the stuff I buy I get very well.

It is a versatile tool very good quality in the artistic work with my students
Good price, quality problems on blades
Suitable for use, in the main, handles good, BUT- At the base of the blades, where they go into the handle, they had extra bent metal or burrs. Which made it extremely difficult or impossible to get blades in or out of the handle properly. Looks like the blades were broken off, not cut off, a spine from a stamp set. I was able to repair this by filing, only because I have a set of small metal files + other tools. Most people would not have the tools or skills. Good price, but there are supplier quality control problems.

These are just rubbish

I have always been happy with Speedball products, but these Linoleum cutters are just complete disappointment. It's very sad and stupid of me to purchase two set regardless of some of the negative comments here. I intended to use it to carve rubber stamps, but the blades are not sharp at all but also are very rough. Couldn't even carve rubber stamp, so I don't know what these cutters can cut.

I have no issues with the product but the box it was shipped in was enormous compared to the tools package. I just wanted to share the observation, maybe the shipping and handling could be reduced on both ends of the transaction.

I thought I would give this tools a try, since I`ve had other Speedball supplies in the past and always enjoyed them. But the quality of this set was disappointing. After figuring out how to install the tips properly (the box came without instructions) thanks to the excellent costumer support via email, I realized some of the blades still wouldn`t fit in the handle; then some are a bit chipped, making them unusable, and dangerous. I decided to keep them in spite of all, using just a couple of the best ones, as I wait for a better set of tools I ordered.
Merchant response: We're sorry to hear that some of the blades you received were defective, and we certainly don't expect you to keep them. One of our Customer Care Agents will be following up with you to see how we can help.
