Speedball Linoleum Cutters are made of the finest quality steel with long lasting cutting edges.

Speedball Linoleum Cutters fit holders for standard Speedball lettering pen nibs. With firm printmaking materials such as linoleum, where a palm grip is needed, use them with the Speedball Linoleum Cutter Handle. With soft printmaking materials, a standard pen holder such as the Blick Pen Holder can be used.

Cutters are available in packages of 2 or boxes of 12. (Cutters cannot be assorted.)

Speedball Lino Set No. 1 — This set contains a Speedball handle with 5 cutters, styles 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6. The end of the handle twists off for convenient storage of cutters inside.

Set of 5 Cutters Without Handle — This set contains styles 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 without a handle.

Speedball Lino Set No. 2 — This set contains two Speedball handles and one each of styles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. The end of the handle twists off for convenient storage of cutters inside.

To get this to work you have to jam the blade into the handle- and then good luck removing it if you want to change blades. My hands feel crippled after trying to use this inferior tool.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Mine were useless for cutting linoeum

I'm at a loss to account for all the positive reviews. I had an old set of these that were perfect, mainly used the small gouge. I carved several intricate lino designs in college and sold a few. Back in 2007, my interest in linocut was renewed, and I carved 3-4 new works using the old blades from college that were still sharp. Then, disaster. I dropped the tool and the impact on the floor dulled the blade I used most often. No big deal, right?. I bought what I though would be a lifetime supply of the small gouges. When they arrived, I was shocked to find that each and every one of the dozen that I bought was so dull it would barely even carve the much softer rubber (for stamps) and simply would not do anything buy make extremely ragged edges with the linoleum. They were ALL very, very dull.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I used this to learn how to carve my own stamps for a small business and I love it! It's easy to use and the best part is the storage inside of it so all the pieces can stay together! I wish it would have come with directions on how to attach the blades but I mean it's pretty easy to figure out. Also my number 1 blade doesn't work but the other ones get me by. Other than that, I absolutely love it and can't wait to make some more stamps!

I bought these to carve pumpkins, and they are great. You can do anything, shading, reverse pumpkins, you name it. And with all the different bits you can buy at cheap prices, the sky is the limit.
