Speedball makes these long-lasting, standard dip nibs for all types of lettering with ink and other water media. Choose from 4 styles and various widths. Use a standard penholder (not included).

Styles A, and B are universal, for left- or right-handed use. Style C (Flat) is available in left-handed and right-hand versions, in selected sizes. All nibs use a standard penholder.

Quantity discounts are applied automatically to orders of 12 or more Universal Hand Nibs, or to 12 or more Individual Hand Nibs. Orders can be assorted for quantity discount.

Style A Square — For block and poster gothic letters, ornamental borders, and designs.

Style B Round — For Gothic or outline letters, cartoons, uniform line drawing, and posters.

Style C Flat — For Roman, text and italic letters, accented lines, scrolls, or scripts. Style LC is Style C for left-handed use.

Set of 5 Left Hand Nibs — One of each size, Style LC.

I actually write with dip pens for all my personal correspondence, so a good nib is important to me. I purchased several Speedball brand nibs to find the one I liked best; all were of excellent quality and write well. They hold a lot of ink without dripping, and they hold up to pretty hard use. These are excellent nibs, and at less than two dollars, almost free! I'll be purchasing more for the calligraphy I do.

Nice quality and variety, but I wonder if a larger pack would be more beneficial. I am new to calligraphy and discovered quickly that I need some smaller nibs for detail work.
