I have done screen printing before, like ten years ago in college. I went to the book for a memory refresher. Online videos were a better resource. It came with stuff I'm never going to use such As filler. Example of unclear instructions: cleaning the screen, preparing positives. Even with experience, I will have used all the photo emulsion due to poor instructions. I'd suggest buying separate, watching videos. I

I've never done screen printing before and had no idea how it was done. I found that there was a steep but short learning curve but now that I've done it once I feel confident that I could do it from now on and I will do more. Now that I've climbed up that learning curve I'm looking forward to doing it again.

I use this to make enamel lettered aluminum tag blanks for antique autos & machinery. With a little practice & photo art work development, the kit/system works well. Final product is identical to original & much better than decal based blanks if even commercially available. Blick Tech staff v helpful guiding us toward the right get started kit for this unique job type. I wish you could sell 1/2 pt. quantities of screening enamel to go with.

i got this kit a bit ago when i first became interested in screen printing.
it has everything you need to get you started.
it is perfect for beginners who want to see if they like screen printing before they invest a lot of money in it.
it comes with a booklet to teach you how, it was detailed enough for someone who has no prior screen printing knowledge to be able to screen print.

with the kit i was able to screen print, hoodies, t-shirts, pillow cases and canvas bags.

i would defiantly recommend this to anyone who wants to try out screen printing.
