I bought the products after watching the instructional video and though I would give it a try. Of course super excited, I used it immediatly upon arrival and I tried a rather detailed image with thin lines and some stippling (I was curious if the filler would destroy the small details). The drawing fluid was very easy to work with and my image came out great. Adding the screen filler was nerve wracking but it covered easily and didnt destroy my image, which I was ratehr happy about. Washing out the drawing fluid was super easy with cold water and my fingers took less than 5 minutes. I used the Speedball waterbased textle screen printing ink to print on shirts I've sewn(I had used this ink before very happy with the product). The first test print I did was perfect every little detail I added came out great!!!! I truly couldn't be happier with the products. They work great as long as the drawing fluid is painted on thick enough and the screen filler is evenly distributed, just make sure not to use too much because it will glob up at the bottom of your screen.

If you use the screen cleaner that speedball makes it takes about 3 rounds of putting the cleaner on both sides, scrubbing, putting more on, letting it sit and then scrubbing under hot water. My screen was back to normal after that.

I really like the drawing fluid and screen filler. It works well especially for the kids that would rather draw or paint in my classes than work on a computer. I have found that using the original Mr. Clean with a nail brush (or a bristled brush that isn't too stiff) and a little bit of elbow grease it cleans out of the screens really well. The kids even volunteered to clean more!

The fluid doesn't wash out easily, even with scalding water and Greased Lightning. I put a hole in one of my screens attempting to remove this filler, and the screen still was tinted red.

I use water based inks and there are not a lot of options available at Dick Blick as screen fillers/blockouts. It's not that difficult to use but requiring hot water for cleanup is a problem if you don't have a sink with hot water available. The chemical degreaser Greased LIghtning does remove it but you still need to use hot water and the fumes can be very strong.
Other than this problem, the screen filler works fine as a blockout. I'd rather deal with this product than switch to oil based inks that are more hazardous.
The water based drawing fluid seems to be the same as the commercially available fluids but is more expensive due to the size.
