Use these emulsions effectively with either water or solvent-based inks. They are for use on polyester screen fabrics only. Reclaim screen with Ulano Stencil Remover No. 4.
Note: Diazo Sensitizer is required in order to use the Diazo Photo Emulsion correctly. Speedball recommends using the full 2 oz with the 26.4 oz Emulsion.

Comments about Speedball Diazo Photo Screen Printing Emulsions:
This product has been the best for my school projects. If you can get a sun lamp or similar light source, it works perfectly for the short runs we have in class.

Never failing emulsion.

My only wish would be, the Emulsion Remover could be the same amount of Emulsion. I found I go through a bit more remover than emulsion itself. I had to order more remover before I knew it.

Stuff works great, I just end up needing more sensitizer, and there are no instructions on how much per oz....
my only problem with this is that you have to mix up the whole jar at once - unlike in the past. It doesn't say but I'm guessing that one jar will coat 5 or so 10x14 screens and I just don't need to sensitize that many at once. It says it keeps in the fridge for 3 months or so but I don't even anticipate needing that many screens that soon so most of it will go to waste. With the old system you just measured out some emulsion and 2 teaspoons or so of sensitizer and mixed as much as you needed. I couldn't find that anywhere and my old emulsion finally dried out (after 10 years or so)- that was a great system - I feel bad wasting all of this activated emulsion but I'm sure that's what's going to happen so that rather negates the good price. I wish Speedball would go back to the old system (I'm capable of measuring). I would recommend it because it's good emulsion but would hesitate because of the waste. It would be fabulous if you're making a half dozen screens at one time. PS - I haven't ever tried the emulsion remover so I can't really comment on that
I always use this product
