Spectrum Noir is a high-quality alcohol-based ink marker that offers professional performance at an affordable price.
The double-ended pens have a broad chisel nib for filling in large areas, and a fine bullet tip for detailed work. Designed specifically for crafters, Spectrum Noir Markers are also great for beginners, students, and hobby artists.
Fast-drying, acid-free, and non-toxic, the marker ink blends seamlessly and the colors can be mixed or layered over one another. Each pen has a colored end that allows for easy identification.
Spectrum Noir Markers come in convenient sets that contain several shades within the same color family. The lower the number designations (1, 2, or 3, for example), the lighter the shade will be. The higher the number, the darker the shade will be.

I purchased this product before and will continue to buy it

I am an avid stamper and scrapbooker. Spectrum Noir Marker Sets offer me a spectrum of colors to use in both of these areas.
Affordable coloring medium
from New York state
I ordered the 12 sets of 6 markers. I love them. What is great is that Spectrum Noir offers free lessons and tutorials. I love to do paper crafts, but am by no means an expert. The blending ability, and free lessons, allow me to have success and desirable coloring experiences as I work on my stamped images. And I love the fact that there are replacement nibs and these markers are refillable. I see them as an investment, and I am loving them. Another great feature....there are no duplicates when you buy any of the additional 24 marker sets. It's a win win all the way around!
Love this product. They are easy to use and colors are true

Love my markers. Cannot wait to buy more colors for my set
Do not like this product.

I expected a better product for the price. The ad that I first saw showed that each marker had a blender section on it, but they do not. I am highly disappointed. The blender marker does not work like it should. So, it was a great disaster and waste of money.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Thank you for reaching out! What you saw may have been a promotion of "Tip-to-Tip" blending with these markers. This technique involves holding the brush tip of one color against the chisel end of another to transfer some ink for a graduated effect. For more information on this technique, or for assistance in using the blender, we invite you to reach out to our Product Information Team. Product Specialists are available weekdays from 8am to 5:30pm CST at 1-800-933-2542 or firstname.lastname@example.org, and they're happy to help!
Marker Paper Makes the Difference in Blending These
By Rebekah C
from Pemberton, NJ
I bought the Pastel 24 and the Light 24 sets on my recent marker gathering this time around. After reading the reviews here and watching the YouTube reviews regarding these markers, I made sure to push in on the caps hard before attempting to open the markers. As others have mentioned, the tips may get trapped in the cap and the whole marker falls apart. By pushing in hard first, I had no issues with markers falling apart as I opened them.... However I'm not sure if this will happen despite my best efforts to prevent this problem in the future. Other than that one thing, I also read that these markers don't blend as well as Copics. Well, I used the expensive blender marker paper and had no problems blending the Spectrum Noirs. Although, I will admit that I haven't tried different paper... The SNs have brilliant, smooth, spreadable color. The variety in the pastels and the lights were incredibly lovely. OH, but the caps DO NOT match the marker colors, so be sure to make a chart first. My two SN marker sets were used to increase my collection of the 96 Blick set, and the Prismacolor 24 portrait set. Since Copics are MIA at this point in time and way too pricey to consider for my wallet (except for the small few I own individually), I'm looking for alternatives. Personally, I'm quite pleased with the Spectrum Noirs that I have and plan on buying the rest as my budget will allow.
Great markers! Love the monotone!
What a great price for such a good product. I love that the colors are in color groups.

I LOVE THESE MARKERS
from White Rock, New Mexico
I use these markers in adult coloring books. They are fantastic. The colors are beautiful. I will be using them for abstract color work I'm just not sure where to start.
Great assortment of Colors
from Santa Clarita California
I have a smaller set of professional grade markers but needed more hues in some colors. I purchased the following packs: Blues, Turquoises, Reds, Pinks, Greens and Purples. Although the colors are okay, they seem to have a 'gritty' look to them when laid down on paper. Two pens in particular were no where near the color advertized: LV2 and DR7. LV2 is in the purples pack and looks like a dirty light brown. DR7 is in the Red pack and IS a full brown and not a red at all. The colors were *okay* but none of them were stunning or instantly became one of my favorites. Like I said, I purchased these to accent my professional grade pens and there truly is a strong difference between the ink quality of the two sets. They will serve their purpose, but they will never become my 'go to' pens.

A great Christmas present
from Portland, OR
I couldn't decide which colors to get for my crafty wife so I bought all of them. She is ecstatic about them! Only one small error occurred, in the blue set there were two of the same color so we will need to go and exchange that set at our local Blick store.
