Art Kraft's versatility lies in its heavy, 50 lb weight and its two distinct surfaces. The smooth side is ideal for felt markers, finger paint, fine-line drawing, or similar art media where bleed is not desired. Turn it over and a superior tooth surface handles chalk, tempera, watercolor, and acrylic with equal ease.

This paper is ideal for bulletin boards, murals, banners, posters, paper sculpture, display backgrounds, table covers, and carnival booths.

200 ft Rolls — The smaller rolls, 48" wide × 200 ft long, weigh only 14 lb. That's light enough so you can take a roll anywhere! Stocked in our warehouse.

1000 ft Rolls — Rolls measure 36" wide × 1000 ft long. These larger size rolls, ideal for bulk dispensers, are shipped FOB factory, and may require additional time for delivery.

I bought this product to paint a mural on. I needed something lightweight and easy to hang in strips, as apposed to a canvas roll. I was able to paint easily on it with acrylics and achieved the exact affect I was after!

Although the price was good and the amount of paper was great, the quality of the paper is a disappointment. The description claims its heavy and can withstand watercolor and acrylic but the paper is just too thin. I find DickBlick to be a great source of art supplies and I haven't been let down with a product once until now. I was looking for good quality, heavy, thick drawing paper but haven't found it yet on DickBlick.com

So glad you continue to offer roll paper/color butcher paper. Our previous vendor changed their inventory to a smaller unit of quantity, which did not work for us. While the price has increased somewhat, the variety of colors was a nice option when ordering.
