SMI Unfinished Birch Flat File Taborets

These unfinished files on wheels are ideal for storing prints or organizing materials. Customize according to your needs by selecting among different drawer configurations.

Drawers measure 19¾" wide × 14" deep inside (355 mm × 502 mm). Small drawers are 1¾" (45 mm) high, perfect for prints or materials that lie flat, like pencils, brushes, and tube paints. Large drawers measure slightly over 4½" (115 mm) high. The large drawers are deep enough to store the popular 2 oz squeeze bottles or 4 oz jars that manufacturers use for acrylic paints.

Just like our popular unfinished flat files, our flat file taborets also feature paintable Baltic Birch veneer, hardboard drawer bottoms, and brushed chrome handles. They resist abrasion and staining beautifully. Each piece is built around a heavy-duty internal frame that is hidden from view. Locking casters allow for easy mobility.

They ship assembled directly from the factory, except for add-on hardware. Just add the casters and handles, and finish them to your delight.

Drawers can accommodate artwork up to 13" × 19", a media format used by inkjet printers that is favored by both CAD designers and digital photographers.

These files would be perfect for housing an archive of large format digital inkjet or giclée prints.
