This compact beechwood easel has independently adjustable carriages that accommodate a canvas up to 34" (86 cm) high. The painting angle adjusts from 0° to 90°. It only weighs 9.2 lbs (4.2 kg).

The locking side drawer has three compartments for supplies. Crafted with brass-plated hardware and a leather handle, this easel slides smoothly into a bag for travel.

I use this for watercolor at home on a card table next to my desk. It is compact, solid and well made. Only thing I wish they had included is a handle on the drawer.

I bought this for my husband for drawing, as I couldn't look at his self-build easel any longer. It is great, he is very happy with it. It is completely adjustable, fits many sizes, and has enough space to store pencils and other smaller utensils. You can carry it around, which is great for us! Material also looks great.

The storage drawer on the right side is best for left handed painters if you reach for items with your right hand while the paint is on the left side. Think about it before you order. It is well made, looks very nice, drawer moves smoothly, all adjustable features work well and wing nuts are easy to use.
I usually tape my watercolor paintings to an 18 x 18 sketch board while working and this easel even allows me to turn it 45 degrees and still use the slots to give a level, secure support. A larger board would sit on top of the upper support and still work well. Great for watercolor and not all easels are!
