I hadn't purchased sable brushes in years and decided to buy a few again for poops and giggles. It turns out that these are truly great brushes for blending right on the canvas and also give a nice clean edge when paint is mixed with a desired medium. I was very surprised with the quality and smoothness these brushes left behind stroke-wise. I just ordered the #20 bright and #2 fan to add to the versatility. These brushes seem right for the money if your wanting to go for a spin with sable to get away from soft synthetics. Highly recommended.
