The finest-quality pure red sable from selected Marten tails is carefully dressed, hand-cupped, tied, and epoxy-set into polished seamless ferrules by experienced brushmakers, then fitted to carefully balanced gloss black hardwood handles with gold tips.

One can feel the quality of the brush the minute it is picked up. I just started using these brushes and so far they appear to be of excellent quality. I bought another brand at the same time to compare and I feel those are better quality.

I hadn't purchased sable brushes in years and decided to buy a few again for poops and giggles. It turns out that these are truly great brushes for blending right on the canvas and also give a nice clean edge when paint is mixed with a desired medium. I was very surprised with the quality and smoothness these brushes left behind stroke-wise. I just ordered the #20 bright and #2 fan to add to the versatility. These brushes seem right for the money if your wanting to go for a spin with sable to get away from soft synthetics. Highly recommended.
