Love these brushes
These brushes are great. They come to a sharp point when wet, even the large oval brush, and they hold a lot of water. In addition, these brushes are not very springy and they tend to hold their shape when painting with them. This can be either a pro or a con depending on what kind of brush you are looking for. Personally, they are a joy to use.

The brush is squirrel blend 1.5 inch wash/flat. It holds a lot of water and color but retains its shape. I use it for standard washes or for shapes created by turning the brush as I draw it across the paper. The amount of paint it holds and the suppleness of the brush makes many interesting patterns. Highly recommended if you do not have a similar brush.

My new go to brushes

This is a new brand for me. A friend recommended these brushes. So far I am impressed. They are snugged in with some of my brushes that are over 30 years old!

great for watercoloring fine details!
Half the price compared to another popular stamping site! Glad I found it here! I wanted to find a nice brush to color in hairs on my stamped images. The ate brush didn't give me the effect I was looking for, until I saw a YouTube use this. I got it, and it was fantastic! So happy with the purchase!
More than Sufficient

I have a few types of these brushes--the set of three rounds (4, 8, 12) are my workhorse brushes, the 3/4" oval wash is my versatile wash brush, and the 1/2" flat wash comes in handy every now and then when I need something with sharp edges or scrubbing (but it is pretty floppy, being a squirrel-synthetic blend). I've tried other types of brushes, everywhere from cheap synthetics to even a high-quality Kolinsky sable round produced 18 years ago when quality control was better, and maybe it's because I've been using the Silver Brushes the most, but I find that they're my favorite. They hold way more water and paint than cheap synthetics, and provide more control in laying down paint than my Kolinsky sable. While the sable holds more water and pigment and unloads it more slowly, for my style of painting, I do value control and a sharp point just as much as water retention and release. Granted, I generally work around A4 or quarter-imperial sizes for landscapes and illustrations, so I don't have a particularly strong need for brushes that can paint mile-long lines in one stroke. I've had my three rounds for about six months, and I've used them roughly once a week or more frequently, and they've barely shed and are as sharp as ever. I do take very good care of my brushes, though, and I'm hoping they'll still be good for several years!
WISH I HAD GOTTON THEM SOONER!!
