The Silhouette Portrait Electronic Cutting Tool is a slightly smaller version of the popular Silhouette Cameo, with the same capacity to cut and sketch custom designs on cardstock, vinyl, fabric, and more using your own fonts and images.
Like a home printer, the Silhouette Portrait plugs into your PC or Mac with a simple USB cable. However, instead of printing, it uses a small blade. To sketch, simply pop out the blade and insert a Silhouette Sketching Pen (sold separately). Unlike other machines, which require expensive cartridges that limit creativity, the Portrait gives you possibilities as boundless as your imagination.
Use the Silhouette Portrait to make stencils, vinyl lettering, vinyl decals, magnets, custom apparel, paper crafts, temporary tattoos, stencils for etching glass, 3-D boxes, and works of art. Cut any font on your computer, download shapes, cut around your own full-color images, or transform

Silhouette Portrait Electronic Cutting Tool — Includes:
Silhouette Studio Designer Edition Software — Silhouette Studio Designer Edition is an upgrade version of the original Silhouette Studio program. It is intended for users who want to unlock and explore further design features the software program can offer. It also allows users of other vector imaging programs (such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw) to import SVG files that have been created with those programs.
Premium Blade — This blade will provide three times the life of a regular blade under normal cutting conditions.
Replacement Cutting Mats — These adhesive cutting mats have the ideal tackiness for holding paper and fabric in place. They are compatible with all Silhouette electronic cutting tools.
PixScan Cutting Mat — Use the Silhouette PixScan Cutting Mat with your smartphone camera to duplicate any photo, image, or pattern at its original size. Once digitized, you can use the files in your Cameo and Portrait projects. Simply place your material on the PixScan Mat, place the mat on a flat surface, and snap a digital photo of the entire mat (or use a scanner to digitize the image). Then import the image into the Silhouette Studio software program (included with the Cameo and Portrait electronic cutters) and load the mat into your cutting machine. The digitized file is automatically synced with the material on the mat to create perfectly outlined cuts every time. Choose from two sizes. 8½" × 11" only fits the Cameo cutter. 7½" × 11" fits either the Cameo or Portrait.
Silhouette Sketching Pens — These pens fit directly into the Silhouette blade holder, letting you transform any digital design into an original work of art. Just remove the blade cartridge, pop in a Silhouette Sketch Pen, and voilá — an artwork is born!
Silhouette Pen Holder — This attachment lets you sketch instead of cut with your Silhouette Cameo or Portrait. Just remove the blade cartridge and insert the pen holder. It comes with three adapters (small, medium, and large) that fit a wide range of drawing instruments, from a thinner standard pens to thick felt-tip markers.
