Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Markers contain ink that is water–, fade–, and abrasion–resistant, as well as quick drying. They go on smooth and opaque, with no mess.

Choose bold point for large lines or darkening, medium point for broad sweeping lines and washes, fine point for precise writing and touch up, or extra-fine point for perfect, ultra-precise lines.

Don't waste your money. They don't work very well. Hard to keep the paint running. They will all of a sudden drip large drops on your object and on your fingers. Four days later I still have paint around my nail. Finally put a large pool of the paint on a scrap cardboard and dipped pen into it then onto my project.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not impressed with these markers...Are not that smooth when using. The red dries more like a pinkish color. There are much better brands out there.

I read up before using this product, the pens are very picky to use. Depressing the tip to get the ink to saturate the felt tip is tricky without ink leaking and overflow problems. Also from my experience I am guessing that if the felt tip dries out getting the ink to flow is almost impossible. Recommended with caution, very picky and short shelf life (under two weeks in my experience).

I use the oil-based sharpies for artwork, and it did take me a little time to figure out how to use them effectively. Be sure to shake the pens and prime the nib (pushing the nib up and down on paper), then test it. Otherwise the artist might not get the opacity and color they are after. However, I have been able to use even this to get different effects from the pens. I love the saturation of color - very bold and glossy.

I bought this pen to touch-up digital paintings. It worked good for about ten minutes, and then the tip fell out ruining the pen and making the rest of the job almost impossible without the risk of ruining my print. I could not fix the pen... It would not go back together.
It cost more to ship than the pen itself. Way over-packed for the size of the product. I bought two pens and hope that the second one will not fall apart. haven't tried it yet.
Other than falling apart, it did exactly what I wanted it to do. Not sure if this is a product defect or if I was just too rough using it. Had to throw it out.

I bought this marker (in yellow) to write on black envelopes. It works just fine on glossy material, but it seeped right into the black paper leaving the writing faded and unappealing. I'm SO frustrated! Is there any other marker that will work??

4 stars only because if you push down too much, it will leak. otherwise, they're amazing and they work great. I used them on mirrors, wood, walls, clothes.
