The graphite writes like a bic pen yet smears and erases as easily as a light charcoal. Lines are inconsistent and shading is difficult at best. Waste of time and money.

Bought one just out of curiosity to use for note taking and general writing. The feel is great. It glides smoothly and provides enough feedback to be really comfortable writing. The feel is much like a top quality medium point ballpoint - smooth and slick, not draggy.

The downside is that is skips a lot, the line does not start cleanly. I can often "write" one or more letters before inkflow starts if the pen hasn't been used in a minute or more. Even when writing continuously the first 1-2mm of line have no ink, so part of the first letter is missing on about half the words I write. Some papers are better than others, but most of my standard pads work as described.

The eraseability is great. The "ink" erases more cleanly than most pencils. I don't know when it becomes permanent, but up to 12 hours later erasability is still excellent.

I might love it if they fixed the ink flow.
