Sennelier is pleased to introduce the newest evolution of its watercolor line.
Continuing its traditional color palette used by French Impressionist painters, Sennelier has now expanded the Sennelier Artists' Watercolor line to 98 colors to include more rich darks.
Additionally, Sennelier has increased the paint's honey content, lending it a smooth consistency and extraordinary luminosity. Honey helps the paint stay wet longer on the palette and makes it easier to reconstitute if it has already cured.
Although Sennelier still grinds each pigment and its medium on a granite surface to obtain extra-fine consistency, the entire Sennelier line has been updated to reflect 21st century advances in pigment composition, resulting in the lightfastness desired by today's painters.
Colors are available in two tube sizes — 10 ml (0.33 oz) and 21 ml (0.71 oz).

Comments about Sennelier French Artists' Watercolor Tubes:
These paints mix well with other brands (especially M Graham) when needed and are bright and vibrant with not much fall-off when dry. Paint re-wets quickly after drying out, works great for my plein-aire palette.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

love the sennelier tube wc paints!
By willy paint
i use tubes to fill pans but find here in arizona it is too arid for most paints and they dry, crack and are almost impossible to lift. not so with the sennelier brand, they stay moist and lift very easily. i love their transparency & luminosity, which they keep even when mixed. i haven't found a better watercolor paint and i have tried most popular brands.

I love using Sennelier paints for layering in my watercolor paintings. They don't produce mud and are very clear and transparent in most cases. I would buy them again and have in fact purchased several colors since my initial purchase.

I got the sample set to test out this brand of paints. It's an amazing value. I'm really impressed with these paints. They are a joy to use and highly pigmented. They live up to their excellent reputation. I'll be back for more.
A Favorite Brand

As a professional watercolorist, I've tried many brands of paint. Sennelier is on my top three favorites list. I much prefer the colors and dispersal of pigment to Winsor and Newton. My palette is fairly limited, but at least half my regular picks are from this line. Brown Pink, Indian Yellow, Indathrene Blue, and Cadmium Red Light are favorites.

One of the Very Best!
Sennelier paints are very nice. Translucent, fantastic for layering. I started with a small set and find myself adding to it all the time. Any time I find it on sale I snatch it up. One of the best paints out there.

First time to try this brand

Never used sennelier before and wanted to try some things I don't normally use in my pallette. Exceeded my expectations.
Converted to Sennelier...

I'm a beginning watercolorist, and quickly moved to artist-quality paints because they are so much better to work with than the cheap stuff. I've tried a few different brands, including Holbein and Winsor and Newton. My sister, a trained artist, said that most of her colleagues used W&N. Nevertheless, I bought the Sennelier test pack -- which is an amazing deal -- and was hooked immediately. The texture of these paints is a smooth, buttery dream and the transparency is excellent. I found the Sennelier Ultramarine Deep to be more vibrant than the W&N French Ultramarine. Payne's Gray is an excellent neutral. I've also been using the Lemon Yellow a lot. I'll be purchasing more Sennelier colors as a expand my collection.
Would buy again
