Sennelier is pleased to introduce the newest evolution of its watercolor line.
Continuing its traditional color palette used by French Impressionist painters, Sennelier has now expanded the Sennelier Artists' Watercolor line to 98 colors to include more rich darks.
Additionally, Sennelier has increased the paint's honey content, lending it a smooth consistency and extraordinary luminosity. Honey helps the paint stay wet longer on the palette and makes it easier to reconstitute if it has already cured.
Although Sennelier still grinds each pigment and its medium on a granite surface to obtain extra-fine consistency, the entire Sennelier line has been updated to reflect 21st century advances in pigment composition, resulting in the lightfastness desired by today's painters.
Colors are available in two tube sizes — 10 ml (0.33 oz) and 21 ml (0.71 oz).

Comments about Sennelier French Artists' Watercolor Tubes:
I use Sennelier watercolours for 95% of my work and it is the very best to work with.1. It refreshens easily after idle for days.2. The colours are vibrant and true to colour. 3. The Sennelier company is willing to discuss a problem and solve it.4. Using honey as a basis will keep the watercolour pigment fresh for a very long time. 5. Sennelier is the only company with a 21 ml tube, best value.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

They know what they are doing

This product was recommended by my art teacher. My only regret is that I did not learn of this paint earlier. It is one of the best watercolor paints I have used.
These are perhaps my favorite watecolors - in my top 3 brand
from Dallas, TX
I will confess I am new to watercolor painting - been at it about a year. These aren't mentioned much by authors in books I've studies. I took a shot on one of them as I was trying out all kinds of paints - I went through their tube of Cerulean Blue first (large tube) and I decided to reorder it and added about 5 others. There is something about the quality of this paint - I would not say it is like Qor or that it flows out into the water as fast as some others - that's not it. I think perhaps the colors are richer or take on some different type of quality than other water colors and I enjoy the difference. It would take a watercolorist with experience to explain what that quality is - it is not luminosity or luster - perhaps more earthy? They give texture and a natural look that I do not see in others - I like having them in my arsenal of choices.

I love Sennelier. Vibrant colors and little separation.......unless you use the French ultramarine with other colors, then you have to stir constantly. For the most part, these colors are wonderful, but I would also try others. There are so many wonderful brands now. Paints are a personal thing. What one artist might like, another may not.
My favorite watercolour

I can't say it's the best because I didn't try all brands, but so far, it's the best for me between all I tried
Very beautiful paints
After trying a few types of paint, I decided I really like the ones with honey added. They rewet perfectly and feel creamy during application. I've been eyeing the sennelier box set of 12 with bonus pans for a while but was reluctant. Blick offered a free tube of sennelier blue with a purchase of three more tubes of paint- so I thought it was a good way to try them out. I chose primary triad and permanent Aliz crimson ( all single pigments and no repeats in the set just in case I decided to commit). They are so much fun to work with. The colors are much more delicate than I'm used to but they layer like a dream. I think that is the greatest strength of these paints. There is an elegance about them and I haven't found a better paint for glazing. The prices are very reasonable too! I think that the next time I make another paint purchase I will be choosing the sennelier set. #sweepstakes
A must have

Got the bright yellow green Sennellier wc. Just what I was looking for. It's bright, warm and keeps its brillance once dry. Anyone who loves landscape painting will find this color and brand to be a great addition to the pallet.

The tubes are nice a large with plenty of pigment. The activation speed is unparalleled even after weeks of inactivity. There is something to be said for using honey. Very very good strength and lightfastness.
