Welcome to dickblick
Sennelier is pleased to introduce the newest evolution of its watercolor line.
Continuing its traditional color palette used by French Impressionist painters, Sennelier has now expanded the Sennelier Artists' Watercolor line to 98 colors to include more rich darks.
Additionally, Sennelier has increased the paint's honey content, lending it a smooth consistency and extraordinary luminosity. Honey helps the paint stay wet longer on the palette and makes it easier to reconstitute if it has already cured.
Although Sennelier still grinds each pigment and its medium on a granite surface to obtain extra-fine consistency, the entire Sennelier line has been updated to reflect 21st century advances in pigment composition, resulting in the lightfastness desired by today's painters.
Colors are available in two tube sizes — 10 ml (0.33 oz) and 21 ml (0.71 oz).
Color Chart Note — Use this color chart as an approximation of the real color. If exact color matching is necessary, use actual samples of the materials.

Comments about Sennelier French Artists' Watercolor Tubes:
I wanted to try Sennelier water colors and Dick Blick had a nice deal so I tried them. They are very nice quality but I don't find them any better than Daniel Smith. But they are a bit more expensive.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Sennelier - My favorite Payne's Grey!!
By Kalico Kat
Out of several brands of Payne's Grey, Sennelier is my very favorite. It has a blue tint that is just beautiful and works well with other colors.
Nice Step Up
This is only the second brand of watercolor paint I've tried, after an unknown junky brand I was given in a watercolor class. I was drawn to it because of the price, and because it's supposed to be good for rewetting, which I do every time I paint. All of the colors I've gotten stayed in one piece and readily softened with water, except yellow ochre, which cracked into hard chunks. I wish they had more colors, but it's overall much better than whatever I used before.
Can't wait to try other colors in this line
from Pleasant Grove, Utah
Has rich pigment and a smooth consistency.
My favorite pink watercolor
This is my favorite pink/rose watercolor. There are a lot of pinks/roses/reds in watercolor paint, but this one isn't staining, and has a lovely transparent, non-granular finish. I buy the larger size and it saves me money. It isn't the easiest to find in stores, but who cares when you get it at Blick's online. The delivery is fast.

I started out using Winsor Newton colors and then I found an old set of Sennelier paints. The vivid colors and the way it rewet made me realized that paints you choose are really important. Sennelier paints are beautiful. I'm new to watercolor, so I'm not an expert, but it seemed to me that there was a huge difference how the paint behaved.
Sennelier French Artists' Watercolor Tubes
I wanted to try these as I had heard a lot of great things about them. They were great! I like trying new product but don't want to buy really big tubes or jars so these are perfect for that. I usually buy colors I don't have or specialty colors. I use them to watercolor and also in mixed media. These are so smooth I love the way they flow onto the paper. No cons from me on this product.
Love their consistancy
from San Mateo
I love the consistency of this paint. Made with honey is not hype it really helps makes great watercolors. Sennelier's pigments are strong as well.

I bought in the store another color - Brown Green and I had ordered Brown Pink --actually they appear about the same color --very subtle change was noticed --they are transparent which is what I like
Love the colors!

I am new to watercolor painting. If find the tubes are so much easier to use than pans . . .
A stunning glimpse into the making of Sennelier L'Aquarelle, Honey Based Artists' Watercolor. Continuing its traditional color palette used by French Impressionist painters, Sennelier has now expanded the Sennelier Artists' Watercolor line to 98 colors to include more rich darks.
