Welcome to dickblick
Sennelier is pleased to introduce the newest evolution of its watercolor line.
Continuing its traditional color palette used by French Impressionist painters, Sennelier has now expanded the Sennelier Artists' Watercolor line to 98 colors to include more rich darks.
Additionally, Sennelier has increased the paint's honey content, lending it a smooth consistency and extraordinary luminosity. Honey helps the paint stay wet longer on the palette and makes it easier to reconstitute if it has already cured.
Although Sennelier still grinds each pigment and its medium on a granite surface to obtain extra-fine consistency, the entire Sennelier line has been updated to reflect 21st century advances in pigment composition, resulting in the lightfastness desired by today's painters.
Colors are available in two tube sizes — 10 ml (0.33 oz) and 21 ml (0.71 oz).

Comments about Sennelier French Artists' Watercolor Tubes:
I love Sennelier. Vibrant colors and little separation.......unless you use the French ultramarine with other colors, then you have to stir constantly. For the most part, these colors are wonderful, but I would also try others. There are so many wonderful brands now. Paints are a personal thing. What one artist might like, another may not.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My favorite watercolour
By Carlos Ferrer
from Córdoba, Argentina
I can't say it's the best because I didn't try all brands, but so far, it's the best for me between all I tried
Very beautiful paints
After trying a few types of paint, I decided I really like the ones with honey added. They rewet perfectly and feel creamy during application. I've been eyeing the sennelier box set of 12 with bonus pans for a while but was reluctant. Blick offered a free tube of sennelier blue with a purchase of three more tubes of paint- so I thought it was a good way to try them out. I chose primary triad and permanent Aliz crimson ( all single pigments and no repeats in the set just in case I decided to commit). They are so much fun to work with. The colors are much more delicate than I'm used to but they layer like a dream. I think that is the greatest strength of these paints. There is an elegance about them and I haven't found a better paint for glazing. The prices are very reasonable too! I think that the next time I make another paint purchase I will be choosing the sennelier set. #sweepstakes
A must have

Got the bright yellow green Sennellier wc. Just what I was looking for. It's bright, warm and keeps its brillance once dry. Anyone who loves landscape painting will find this color and brand to be a great addition to the pallet.

The tubes are nice a large with plenty of pigment. The activation speed is unparalleled even after weeks of inactivity. There is something to be said for using honey. Very very good strength and lightfastness.

I paint Botanicals and these paints are outstanding. Vibrant colors, good transparency, great for layering or glazing.

I really love these Sennelier colors. They're luscious and especially luminous, more so than many other brands. The tubes are great values- choosing the colors are difficult. Blick has the best prices I've found.
Nice watercolor paints

I wanted to try Sennelier water colors and Dick Blick had a nice deal so I tried them. They are very nice quality but I don't find them any better than Daniel Smith. But they are a bit more expensive.
Sennelier - My favorite Payne's Grey!!
By Kalico Kat
Out of several brands of Payne's Grey, Sennelier is my very favorite. It has a blue tint that is just beautiful and works well with other colors.
Nice Step Up
This is only the second brand of watercolor paint I've tried, after an unknown junky brand I was given in a watercolor class. I was drawn to it because of the price, and because it's supposed to be good for rewetting, which I do every time I paint. All of the colors I've gotten stayed in one piece and readily softened with water, except yellow ochre, which cracked into hard chunks. I wish they had more colors, but it's overall much better than whatever I used before.
A stunning glimpse into the making of Sennelier L'Aquarelle, Honey Based Artists' Watercolor. Continuing its traditional color palette used by French Impressionist painters, Sennelier has now expanded the Sennelier Artists' Watercolor line to 98 colors to include more rich darks.
