As another reviewer, Tara, has pointed out, there is a protective plastic covering that must be removed. I suppose the manufacturer expects you to do that when you try to remove the sticker and discover the covering. Once uncovered you find that the mirror is made of a shiny acrylic, very much like mylar. From there on it works great as a mirror.

The cost of a classroom set is very expensive. One student dropped one on the floor and the top of the triangle broke, exposing a thin metallic sheet of paper covered in a thin plastic coating. These are NOT durable or made of quality materials to justify the high price for even one mirror! I would not recommend these or purchase them again.

These are not kid friendly. Too bad because we sure could use them! I borrowed the set from a friend. My poor students broke half of them... because they are kids. Don't waste your money

We were very excited about using these for a portraiture art activity, and we ordered 30 of the two-sided mirrors. However, they were stacked on top of each other in the box they arrived in, and each had a long stress crack at the top where the two sides joined. They broke along the crack. These are clearly too fragile to be used by students.

At first I was disappointed, then came here and read the reviews...REMOVE the clear protective film!!! These mirrors are not dull, blurry, or scratched up!! You must remove the protective film!!!

Not sure there's a better model available, but I wish the two sides were hinged, for easier storage and more durability. Used these in the classroom and student accidentally broke one, thinking that it should fold together.

These mirrors work great. I think people are forgetting to peel of the stickers because they look amazing. The only bad thing is they are easy to break if you squeeze them or pull them apart

Great for students to use in making self-portraits. The label is impossible to move, however, and takes up too much space in the front of the mirror.

This is the first self portrait mirror that I have used so its hard for me to judge it versus other products in this category. The mirror is very dull and blurry. In addition, it comes with a sticker on it that takes up a significant part of the bottom of the mirror and is next to impossible to remove. This product was inexpensive, but I would rather have paid twice as much and received a quality item.
