So far I have been extremely pleased with this tool set! I've been working with alabaster and the chisels and rasp are all doing a great job! One of the chisels had a tooth break, but I think that is only because I was trying to use the tool in a way it wasn't meant to be used. This is my first stone project and I am still learning. But great deal! $60 less than other websites I've seen.

The quality of the tools appears to be good and so far they seem to hold an edge well. My two complaints were that the advertised set I bought included a riffler and the set you sent did not. Second, the hammer that came with the set was loose in the handle. I had to add another wedge to secure it.

Normally DB prices are on the high side. Not so for this set. After looking at dozens of dealers this was by far the best deal.

Anyone who carves stone, marble or softer, will need these tools. Two sizes of hexagonal shanks feel perfect in your hands. Easy to rotate and they keep a sharp edge for a long time before you need to re-sharpen. These are precision tools that require tempering for strength. If you have pneumatic hammers, the hex shanks can be ground round to your size & away you go. The points, toothed and flat chisels are cut & shaped after quenching for the best edges. The rondel is small but makes life easy getting into hard spots without snapping a corner off of a flat chisel (not a smart thing to do).

A terrific all around set that every stone sculptor must have in their most basic inventory.
