Sculpey Bake & Bend is a non-toxic modeling compound that will not dry out when exposed to air. It stays soft and pliable until baked in a regular oven at 285°F (140°C) for 20 minutes per ¼" (6 mm) of thickness.

Once cool, Bake & Bend remains bendable and flexible, practically indestructible, so it's great for kids because they can make, bake, and play with their creations! Both sets include basic instructions as well as step by step instructions to make a project.

Set of 6 Colors — This set includes one 1 oz (28 g) bar in each of six colors: Black, Blue, Green, Red, White, and Yellow. A modeling tool and a clay roller are also included.

Set of 8 Colors — The set includes one 2 oz (57 g) bar in each of eight colors: Beige, Black, Red, Green, White, Yellow, Blue, and Orange. A clay roller is also included.

When used with an armature this soft sticky clay can be really useful and sturdy. It is frustratingly squishy in comparison to other polymer clays, but I imagine it has to be to give it flexibility after curing. I use it regularly for jewelry and flexible sculpture and would recommend it to artists.

Unlike the many other Sculpey products I have used many many times, this one is HORRIBLE. When you bake it it turns VERY CRUMBLY!!!, not rubbery, not hard and durable, just crumbly. It is a total disappointment to the students who've made things out of it and a disappointment and EMBARRASSMENT to any teacher.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
