Comments about Saral Sally's Graphite Transfer Paper:
I used the transfer paper to reverse my drawings onto linoleum blocks. I was very pleased with how solid the transfers came out.

Too Light or Too dark
from Portland, OR
Transfers are always either too light or too dark. And if you pressed too hard (which you will do after discovering you the transfer was too light the first time) then it will be difficult to completely erase.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
"The BEST for transferring onto most surfaces."
from Troy, Ohio
I LOVED Sally's Transfer Paper. Far superior to other transfer papers for the following reasons: Very large sheets. Stronger paper weight. Graphite says put until you make your transfer. Can be used over and over again. Box is great to store new and used sheets. The price is little more than other transfer papers but it is worth the extra money.

I bought this transfer paper thinking it would have the same transfer ability as the regular Saral paper I'm used to. It was a good price. But from the first time I used it, it seemed I had to press down a lot harder to get the graphite to show up on the surface I was transferring to. I gave it an average review because it did ultimately work, but I would prefer it transfer a lot easier.

I have been painting birdhouses and I just lay the graphite paper on and trace my pattern. Then when removed I had a nice pattern to paint. It goes the surface and it doesn't smear!I was so happy to find it. great product! I
A must have tool for my watercolors
from Redlands, CA
I use each sheet over and over, they last so long. I copying my drawings onto my painting surface with this special "carbon paper" and paint right over the lines. Since I keep my original drawing I can repeat them in the same painting or in another one.
High Quality Transfer Paper
from Marion County, Arkansas
This product has been used in my classrooms for years. When a student completes a rough draft that they find satisfactory, This product makes their transfer so much easier. Fine line drawings, faces for example can be transferred with ease.

Great Time-Saving Product
By Northwest Watercolors
from Port Angeles, WA
I use this product to quickly layout my watercolor paintings. I print out a full sized picture of the model photograph onto regular white paper, then tape it to the board with the transfer paper underneath. The transfer paper is very sensitive to application pressure so I can control the weight of the lines, which are erasable - a great feature. Sheets can be used for a very long time, over and over, so you get your money's worth. Handling the rolled sheets is a bit cumbersome, but gets easier with time and practice. However, because the product comes rolled up, it takes much less storage space than a pad of the same size.Great product, way superior to regular carbon paper. This is my go-to product.
