Comments about Saral Sally's Graphite Transfer Paper:
I use this paper to transfer drawings onto canvas for acrylic painting. Have traced right over an acrylic background, and the tracing showed well.

Helpful transfer paper
from WIndsor, Canada
I have purchase Sally's graphite paper to help my twin daughters to transfer their drawing into the papyrus paper for their grade 9th visual arts project at high school. Without this product, my daughters couldn't use the papyrus paper on their project. I have gave it 4 stars because my daughters have to press very HARD to transfer their drawing into the papyrus paper.
Easy To Use
from Seneca, Il
I used this graphite paper to lay out a painting of a specific house, where I had to have all architectural features exactly correct. The graphite lines were a good, light color and easy to cover (acrylics and marker). I would recommend this product and will use it again .

Best Graphite Paper for the Price!
By Painter on a Budget
from Traverse City, MI
I purchased this to transfer a very detailed drawing I completed onto a canvas for painting in acrylic. The great part is you can trace your drawing in stages as the graphite paper is reusable (many times!). I lay the paper over the canvas with my drawing on top and trace over the background features first, remove the papers, and paint the background, then realign the graphite paper and my drawing and trace the next portion and so on. I used a pencil then changed to a shish-ka-bob skewer:-) Worked perfectly for very fine traced lines. I wanted fine lines as I wasn't sure if the graphite would color my paint - which I had no problem with. Another plus - this is the best price out there for multiple sheets which are good sized.
Weak on transfer ink - Faint Image
By Wood Sculptor
from Northern Michigan
We use this product to transfer patterns onto wood. The wood is sanded smooth, residual dust is thoroughly removed with air hose prior to transfer. Still, very weak transfer!Sure wish they (someone) would make improvements, or improved product.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I used the transfer paper to reverse my drawings onto linoleum blocks. I was very pleased with how solid the transfers came out.
Too Light or Too dark
from Portland, OR
Transfers are always either too light or too dark. And if you pressed too hard (which you will do after discovering you the transfer was too light the first time) then it will be difficult to completely erase.

"The BEST for transferring onto most surfaces."
from Troy, Ohio
I LOVED Sally's Transfer Paper. Far superior to other transfer papers for the following reasons: Very large sheets. Stronger paper weight. Graphite says put until you make your transfer. Can be used over and over again. Box is great to store new and used sheets. The price is little more than other transfer papers but it is worth the extra money.
