Welcome to dickblick
Artists, writers, and illustrators reach for Pigma Micron to convey their personality, style, or ability, and to safeguard their work with the lasting quality of Pigma ink.
Pigma Micron pens are acid-free and archival, making them ideal for papercrafts, journals, illustration, crafts, or any application requiring precision and permanance.
Unlike dye-based ink found in most pens and markers, Pigma ink will not feather or bleed, even through the thinnest paper. Pigma ink is derived from a single pigment to ensure color consistency, and is fadeproof against sunlight or UV light. Pigma inks will not clog or dry out like most mechanical pens.
Pens are not refillable.

Longest lasting, best Quality
By Art Room Teacher

I rely on Sakura Pigma Micron Pen for the best quality artist grade pen for my Advanced Art students. I have never found another brand that draws on and on. On a tight Art Room budget it is by far the best value. The students can complete an extremely detailed ink rendering with out needing replacement pens. The ink is dark and rich and very permanent, so other mediums can be used over the ink drawing without any problems.

I purchased a lot of pens to draw with and they came in right on time. Everything went smoothly
Sakura Pigma Micron Pens
I use these for decorative painting and they work wonderfully. Just need to let dry for at least 24 hrs. or the varnish will remove the lines.
Best pens on the market
from Jacksonville, FL
We use Sakura Pigma Micron Pens to create Zentangle artwork, to outline original art and to write in our handmade greeting cards. The best thing about these is that they don't smear or fade in color and can be used with water soluable paints without bleeding into the artwork.
I love this pens
from Allen, TX
I enjoy to work with this pens, the tip responds lovely to the way I work, not that I treat them badly, but they are really comfortable to draw with, the ink does not go all over the place and now that I'm incorporating markers to my work, they don't smear or blend, and so far, my works from months ago look still lovely. I always have Black and Sepia 005 and 01 on my art supply bag.

Excellent Pens for Art!
By art guy
from Ely, MN
I have been using these pens for years, I have a box of spent ones, numbering in the hundreds. I think this is the best pen in its class of archival ink pens. As far as pen you can't refill, it doesn't get any better. A nice selection of tip sizes. As I look around and see the works of other artists I often find that they also use the Pigma Micron. When I teach pen and ink courses in schools, college and community art programs I recommend them when I can.
