Permapaque markers are safe, no-mess opaque paint markers that you do not need to shake. They are non-toxic, quick drying, odorless, permanent, and suitable for acid-free environments.

Use them on almost any surface, including ceramics, wood, metal, and glass. Available in Dual Point or Fine Point. Each Dual Point marker has a chisel point at one end for both detail and a wider coverage, and a bullet point at the other end.

Set of 4 Dual Point Markers — This set contains one dual point marker in each of 4 colors, including Black, Blue, Green, and Red.

Set of 16 Fine Point Markers — This set contains one fine point marker in each of 16 colors, including Black, Red, Purple, Green, Blue, Orange, White, Pink, Yellow-Green, Sky Blue, Metallic Gold, Metallic Silver, Metallic Bronze, Metallic Pink, Metallic Purple, and Metallic Blue.

This is a non-opaque, transparent marker. It is NOT a paint marker. The marker is average as a permanent marker that isn't actually that permanent. This marker fails at everything it claims to do. A plain old sharpie is better than this.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Product is nothing like the name implies: NOT opaque by any stretch, and the use of the word "paint" is downright wrong. It's a marker, and not a even very good one at that. I tried it on a (primed) wood surface, and it barely showed. The only thing it's good for is paper. Make that WHITE paper. I wound up using nail polish for the project I was working on!

This product is fine if you're looking for a basic marker to write notes, signs, etc., in a range of pretty colors, and that's about it.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I use these markers for decorative painting and on canvas with acrylic paint. I have never been disapointed, they don't last extremely long ,but pricing here is reasonable so they are easily replaced. Good product for adult use or children's use.

I use the sakura permaopaque for artwork and labeling. Other markers smell and will bleed through paper. These are excellent for writing a quick note on the back of a postcard, tracing on a light box or drawing on a photograph. They may not last for ever but they do last a long time and at that price, a replacement is very affordable. The colors are bright and perky, it is great to have two nibs in one and they are so easy to hold and use for long periods without getting aches in your hands. If you give these to children,they are easy to hold, won't smell and are washable.

I have used these many times on decorative paint projects. Just the right amount of gloss in my opinion and they lasted longer than other brands have. The white is just as opaque as most real paint put on with a brush or spray can over dark colors.

wanted to test these out because I like paint markers, but this one is like a permanant marker that doesn't have a sheen to it. These work well on non-porous surfaces like plastic, but are like any other marker on paper

I needed an opaque white fine line pen (finest possible to cover errant pen/pencil marks & design changes). The white pen was not opaque when applied over marks, even when marks were sealed with fixative, with acrylic sealer, and without sealer. As this was my only requirement, it was useless.
