This handy brush carries the water for you!
Designed for easy transport and storage when you're working on the go, the Koi Water Brush from Sakura separates into two parts — a fine, flexible brush tip and a barrel handle with a plug to carry water. The comfortable grip is great for controlled blending, shading, and highlighting.
All three sizes have a 9 ml (0.3 oz) water tank.

Love the feel of the synthetic brush and portability of it, I've been painting on the go and blowing a few people's minds away by how minimal I need to paint, very portable, easy clean, brush quality is amazing for its price even for non wet mediums alltogether I plan on buying all sizes only weird thing is the screwing on backwards.
Super easy to assemble/use
Super durable and nice and EASY to use.

I bought to try with some water pencils. The brush is nice. I haven't only tried it out once. Wet medium is not my favorite.

Plein Air Brush Setup

The set of Three Sakura Koe Water Brushes are a travelers friend! I am able to paint on the go with no water pans. Some of my favorite sketches are a simple ink drawing filled in with watercolor in a few minutes thanks to these brushes. They brushes are perfect for Plein Air washes and dry brush techniques.

It works as intended. I've only used it with water, but it hasn't leaked in my pencil pouch which I was nervous about, so thats a plus. It does suck a little bit of color back into the body, but I'm pretty rough on my brushes so that might factor into that. All in al, I'm a fan. :) I've used better water brushes, but for it's price you can't really beat it.
LOVE these waterbrushes!

I have used Koi water brushes for my watercolors before. They are amazing! They release just enough water with each squeeze, but not too much. I love the small sized brush (vs. medium) because I can paint smaller areas with greater accuracy. I only need a baby wipe or a paper towel to change colors--I just squeeze out some water and wipe the brush to rinse it off. Great deal at DB's!
Just what I was looking for

I tend to get lots of ideas well traveling so I looked around for some good quality water loadable paint brushes and this one stood out; sturdy, does not leak and lays water down well. A very nice traveling brush. I was going to purchase a cheaper three set pack but I am so thankful I went for this!
