Sofia is wise in its construction, featuring a blend of 50% finest Kolinsky Sable and 50% best-quality multi-diameter synthetic filaments. This handmade series offers unrivaled color-holding capability, and durable sharp edges and points.

All Sofia brushes feature gold-plated, double-crimped brass ferrules and SilkTouch handles.

Half synthetic half sable, points well and springs back.
When dry the sable hair gives the brush a scruffy appearance,this is usual with all the sable brushes I use - it is in use, when the brush is wet that it shows its true self. I bought a number of these brushes at a good price and feel they are good value.

This brush is unusable. Expected much better from this company. The bristles are splayed in all directions, and I haven't even used it yet. It's going right back.
