I teach elementary art and these are my go-to brushes. I really appreciate the fact that the handles are sturdy, they can withstand repetitive usage thru the day, and they have held up great thru the year. I will be ordering more for next year. I am also ordering some for the classes that I teach in my home studio.

I use these brushes frequently with children grades 1-5 in a full-size elementary school--probably once a day on average. A pack lasts at least a year for me, then the brushes don't hold a nice fine point anymore, though they are still usable. I wouldn't recommend them for children younger than 1st grade because they don't have the motor control to not damage the bristles. I notice a big difference in the kids' work because these offer so much more control than the usual natural bristle brushes I've seen. They're also sturdier and longer lasting because the plastic handles can stand up to being left in water and the ferrules don't come off. The bristles are strong and springy instead of mop-like. I am a dedicated repeat-buyer of this class set.
