I thought camel hair would be an affordable substitute for pony hair brushes. But these things are the worst brushes I've ever used in my whole entire life. The brushes have no strength and I see my students just dabbing paint on to paper.
Worst of all, all the hair falls out with every brush stroke and it gets everywhere, including the artworks themselves.
I would not recommend these to anyone :(

I use inexpensive soft brushes to apply resin to my artwork, and these are some of the best I've seen - definitely for the price. So far, I've had very, very little problem with any loose hairs coming out, which is always one of my main concerns with inexpensive brushes. I would highly recommend them.
